He pushed his victim to the floor, riddled with bodies and warm red blood. No longer alive, their souls wandered in the limbo outside of the locked heaven above. Dean had realized that becoming who he is now was inevitable and true. He believed it was the best event he had overcome. It was selfish.. But also what he needed. At least that's what he thought.

He heard the taps of loafers striding towards him. Dean smiled when the footsteps from outside the warehouse grew larger. Dean's blade glimmered and trembled with delight. All he cared about was his next kill, the rage and fury of his lust for blood drove him murderous. But that's what he liked.

However, soon everything started to shake, and with a gust of wind came in a man.. Or was it, angel, Castiel. Dean's vision of him was blurred and distorted. Distraught with what his friend had become, Cas held up his hand as a sign of peace, gradually striding closer and closed towards the man; the man who was covered in crimson ink; the man who Cas loved...

Loved?

He didn't know anymore. The heart whose pieces had been torn and put back times and times again, the heart that is now dripping with blood that is not his own.

Dean heard Cas' pleas to reach in and find the noble man he was once, but couldn't listen. The cries of his friend didn't touch Dean. With each step closer, Dean's heart and head pounded louder-- ba-bum, ba-bum.

He couldn't wait anymore.

Dean needed to kill!

Though, as if Cas had been calling from outside of a dream, Dean listened. Cas said he was his friend, his family.

"Was that all?" Dean thought.

Of all they had overcome together, from when they met to how he had reached out to him once. Dean revisited those memories.. A warm flurry seeped into Dean's chest, the one unlike that of his demon nature. The one that was like love.

The angel's arms had wrapped around Dean, they both trembled. And with those trembling lips, Dean took and set them upon Cas'. A climax that brought two of them the comfort. The soft heat from his chest overcame his twisted soul.

Castiel felt assured that he had found his beloved one, of all the emotions he felt-- it was resolve. Cas' longing had stopped, he understood why it had to be him to get the chosen vessel of Michael.

Both bodies pressed against each other as if in a movie there was no one but them. But every movie has to have some sense - no love could stall Dean's instinct for too long. For a flash of a second after their kiss, the demon saw Cas' sweet smile, almost regretting what he had done. You could hear the crashing sound and sneeze as Dean's blade went through an angel. The smile turned sour. Cas' eyes opened wide as his blood spurt from his mouth. The staggered blade could be felt inside his body. His internal organs were pierced and oozed out of his juices. Dean listened to the drips, drips of Cas' blood that were falling on the floor. With the last of Castiel's strength, he clung onto the arms of Dean's jacket, reaching up to cover the black windows that had replaced Dean's eyes.

"Your eyes.. How I miss them..."

Dean felt a wave of horror of what he'd done.. A tear streamed down from behind Cas' bloody hand. They stumbled onto their knees, and Castiel breathed his last breath, "I loved you.."

The gleam in Cas' eyes faded, leaving only two bright blue jewels; with a large flash, his soul disappeared, leaving the shadow of the angel's wings scorched onto the chest of the demon he loved.
