Chapter Thirteen
The next morning after I found out I had cancer, I woke up to an arm around me and the nasty mix of morning breath and reminisce of alcohol from last night. Stephan was sound to sleep beside me on the floor of my bathroom, breathing heavily into my face. I groaned as I remembered what I could from last night; all I could tell you was that it was a hell of a time.
I shoved Stephan's arm that was around me and sat up, instantly feeling nauseous. I pinched the bridge of my nose, sucking in air quickly before holding my breath, trying to make the feeling go away. I couldn't believe that we fell asleep on the floor in the bathroom, that was an all time low for us.
Finally the feeling of being nauseous went away and I figured it was time to wake Stephan up. He lay peacefully on his stomach, his head propped up on the arm that wasn't around me. I jumped onto his back like as if he was a horse and started rubbing his head.
"Wake up!" I yelled and he flinched, rolling to the side and knocking me off. I landed against the wall, my air being knocked out of me temporally, "Mmm, maybe that wasn't the best idea." I breathed in deeply, trying to get air flowing back.
"Seriously Jay?" he groaned and gave me the death glare. "You could have nicely woke me up, instead of riding me like a horse.
"Well, where's the fun in that?" I smirked and leaned back against the wall now. "Do you realize where we are?"
Stephan looked around then groaned, hitting his forehead on the floor, "Wow, we're idiots."
"Well at least we were idiots together." I chuckled lightly and stood up slowly. I gripped onto the sink before I toppled over onto Stephan who didn't look to well. Looking at myself in the mirror I looked like complete shit which makes me wonder why I drink, but I probably will never stop.
Stephan stood up beside me, but quickly regretted it as he threw up into the toilet which was luckily open. I made a face, "Eww." Once he was done he flushed and smacked my arm. "Hey! That's not nice!" I grabbed my arm and glared at him.
"Neither is commenting on me throwing up," He stayed still for a moment before he knew he wouldn't vomit again. He shoved me to the side and turned on the faucet, washing his mouth out. "What a night."
"Tell me about it," I leaned against the doorframe, watching Stephan through the mirror as he was looking over himself, "I lost count after 10." We drank so much last night it was crazy that we were still alive. "Also you were hitting on everything last night."
"And you weren't?" Stephan raised a brow, "You were hitting on girls. I had to stop you from leaving with one and who knows, you could have been a father for how wasted you were."
I rolled my eyes and left Stephan in the bathroom, heading into my room and it was a complete mess. "Do you remember what we did when we got here?" There were pictures flung throughout the room, and things were tipped over. It was a wonder my parents didn't bother us last night, or maybe they did but I couldn't remember.
I crouched down to a box with pictures in it, and the picture that was laying on top was split in half. I picked it up, turning it over; it was of Anthony and I, when we were together, and it was ripped right between the two of us.
