Hey everyone, I know it's been a long time since I uploaded, but you should probably know that my life is constantly crazy and I'm always, always, always busy. Writing is something I do when I get the chance, which isn't very often. A lot of you might already know that if you read Let's Pretend My Tears Are Raindrops. Oh, and if you haven't read it, check it out:) But thankyou to all those patient people out there who waited for this chapter and didn't complain--I love you<3

Chapter 3
“Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.”
—Mother Teresa
“Well this could be problematic,” Twilight said, breaking the silence. Instead of answering I let out an exasperated laugh, trying to hide the panic I was feeling inside.
I bit my lip and slammed my fist against the steering wheel. The truck shook under my blow. “Dammit!” I yelled, as if it could change anything. I began turning the key over and over in complete denial of the situation. “Piece of shit.” I mumbled. For a moment I’d forgotten that Twilight was right beside me, but when I remembered I glanced her way.
Twilight was eyeing me with her feet resting on my dashboard. She shook her head, smiling. “You’re not going to change anything by yelling at the truck, Olly.”
I sighed. “Yeah,” I said, “I know.” I looked out the window, praying for a miracle, but the night sky had turned the world around us into an endless array of blackness.
“Don’t worry.” Twilight said, gently setting a hand on my shoulder. “Someone’s going to find us.”
“Hopefully before we starve to death.” I added.
She giggled, punching me on the arm. “Don’t even think like that!”
“You’re right. It should be okay, but it would help if I wouldn’t have missed my turn.” I said.
“Don’t stress it. I’m sure someone will find us before anything bad can happen. Just think of this as camping.” She said with a smirk. “In a car.”
“Yeah, okay.” I replied sarcastically. “Because that’s normal.” I laughed under my breath. “Whatever you say.”
“That’s what I like to hear.” She said quietly. I could tell she was getting tired.
“I’m sure it is.” I said. “But you’re starting to sound tired. Get some rest. We might have a long day tomorrow.”
“Okay.” She said, yawning. “Goodnight, Olly.”
