Chapter 7

"W-what do you mean changing?" I stuttered.
"Rose this is gonna sound crazy but our dads are werewolves. They're not coworkers they're part of a pack. My dad is the Alfa and my mom is the Luna. Your dad is the omega. But your mom is a vampire." Grayson said to me. I couldn't process this. And everything went black.
I woke up on a couch with Vic next to me with Grayson on the other side and Ethan next to him.
"Oh My God Rose. Are you ok?" Grayson asked me with a concerned face.
"I'm fine. How long was I out?" I asked.
"About half an hour." Grayson responded.
"Did you tell Vic?" I asked.
"Yeah. She took it a lot better than you did." Ethan said chuckling.
"So if my dad is a werewolf and my mom is a vampire. What are me and Victoria?" I asked.
"Well usually when a vampire and a werewolf have children their child is either a werewolf of a vampire. But Rose, you and Victoria are special, every couple million years when a werewolf and a vampire mate they create a hybrid. Meaning the hybrid has both powers of being a werewolf and a vampire. Rose and Vic you're hybrids." Grayson said holding my hands.
"What's a mate?" I asked Grayson.
"A mate is basically a person made to be with another person. Everyone has one, some people may even have multiple. But when someone finds their mate, they complete a ritual. They mark their mate, meaning they both bite each other and have sex. Binding them for life, if one mate dies after they are connected, then the other mate will also die. But hybrids are immoral, and when they connect to their mate they also become immortal." Grayson explained to me. All I could do was nod. Is Grayson my mate? Is that why I got that tingly feeling when he touches me. Or when we kiss.
"When will I be able to actually be a werewolf or a vampire?" I asked because I'm still very confused.
"Oh you're already transforming. The way you hear my heartbeat. That's your vampire trying to come through. And the eyes is your wolf." Grayson said to me. "But the average age is about 15. Although me and Ethan can already transform into our wolves. Wanna see?" Grayson asked. I nodded, and so did Vic. They both took off their shirts and pants.
"When transforming clothes get ripped in the process. So we usually just strip before transforming." Ethan explained to me and Victoria. We both nodded. Then their nails turned to claws. Their K9s became longer. And their bodies were covered in fur. Ethan is a dark grey almost black wolf with orange eyes. While Grayson is a magnificent all black wolf. With piercings green eyes as he looked at me. When his eyes landed on my something clicked. And I felt my nails turning to claws and my teeth growing. I looked in the mirror and was amazed. I'm a pure white wolf with gold glowing eyes. As I looked at Grayson I could sense him smile.

Grayson's POV
As Rose transformed I was completely amazed. She's a white wolf. The second strongest and most powerful wolves under black wolves. And her eyes. The purest color of gold. When she looked at me I felt something. And I heard my wolf saying something.
My mate.
