Chapter 6

When we pulled away from the kiss I was in complete shock. That was my first kiss and it was the best feeling I've ever got. My lips still tingled from the kiss. Grayson looked just as shocked as I was. Did he feel it too?

Grayson's POV

Wow. Just wow. When I kissed Rose it was the best feeling ever. It felt like my body was sending fireworks. I knew I liked her I just didn't know she would actually like me back. I mean everyone hates me. I'm called a nerd. The only reason Ashley dated me was because Jack dared her to. And I didn't even find out til after she broke up with me. But Rose wouldn't do that to me. Right?

Rosalina's POV

I looked over at Ethan and Victoria to see them both smiling. And Cameron standing behind them smirking. I blushed. Hard. I looked at Grayson to see a little sparkle in his eyes. As if he couldn't get any cuter his eyes literally sparkle.
"I guess we should get to class now right?" Grayson said kinda awkwardly. We started to walk and I felt Grayson grab my hand and intertwine our fingers. I blushed and looked at my shoes, he put two fingers under my chin and faced me towards him.
"Don't hide you're beautiful face from me Rose." Grayson said sweetly.
"Don't tell me what to do." I said jokingly.
"Then don't kiss me again." Grayson said winking at me. I grabbed under his right cheek and whispered in his ear.
"Ok." He looked shocked and then he blushed and covered his face.
"Don't hide your beautiful face from me." I said mocking him. He turned and pressed his soft lips against mine. I kissed him back immediately. I got that feeling again, that tingly feeling. The longer we kiss the stronger the feeling gets. It shot through me. I could get used to this. We both pulled away to catch our breath. And I looked into his eyes. And saw them sparkling again but this time with a slight glow. We all then walked into our last class. Honors English. Me, Grayson, Ethan, and Victoria sat in the back table as Mr. B explained what we're doing today.
"Today we will be doing a group project." Mr. B said. Great.
"Since this is the beginning of the school year you are aloud to pick your groups of 4 people. No more than 4. This project you will pick a Greek god or goddess and make a power point presentation on them. With a minimum of 8 slides. You may begin." We all looked at each other and smiled.
"Who we choosing?" Grayson asked the group while looking at me.
"How about Haydes?" Victoria asked knowing he's my favorite god. We all nodded in response. Mr. B handed out the rubric.
"I can do slide 3 and 4." I said.
"I call 1 and 6." Vic said.
"2 and 5." Ethan said.
"So I guess I have 7 and 8?" Grayson asked.
"Yep." I said popping the 'p'.
The rest of the class period was spent with the four of us intensely researching Haydes. The bell rang and we all started walking out of the class.
"Do you guys wanna hang out at our house? Our parents don't get out til 5." Grayson asked.
"Sure." I responded as we started to walk off campus. I interlocked my fingers with his. He looked up at me and smiled. But something felt different. I could feel something.
Bum-Bum-Bum-Bum.
What the fuck? Then I realized that it's a heart beat. But not mine. It's Grayson's. When we got to there house Ethan pulled out his key and unlocked the door.
"I'm just gonna use the bathroom." I said.
"Oh I'll show you where it is." Grayson said. I had a million emotions at once.
"Here it is. Rose are you ok? You seem a little zoned out." Grayson said sounding concerned.
"Ok I know this is gonna sound crazy. But when we kissed. Your eyes glowed. And then when we were walking I could feel you heartbeat." I said still freaked out about it. Grayson smiled at me.
"That's because you're changing."
