Keith and Lance have been dating for 2 years now and things have been going great. overt he past couple of months Lance and Keith have been inseparable you rarely ever saw one without the other. Keith took this as a good sign of course and thought maybe it was time to take the next step.
Keith couldn't help but think, I hope he says yes. Keith pats his pocket ,where a black velvet box is hidden, as he walks down the hallway to Lances room. He has the whole night planned. Hes going to pop the question. Hes going to ask him. Hes actually going to ask him.
Calm yourself Keith
OK. He re adjusts himself and he knocks on Lances door.
No one answers the door
"Laaaannnnccceeeeeeee, come on out baby" he says in a singsong voice.
He still doesnt answer the door
"Im coming iiiiinnnnnnnn" Keiths voice falters as he opens the door. His smile leaves his face as he takes in the sight before him.
Its Lance. But its not lance. It cant BE LANCE.
Tears flow like waves down Keiths face as he stands there in shock, Lance-HIS LANCE.... is just......hanging...there.....

No Im dreaming this is a dream this is all just a dream
He rushes over to Lances body and tried to get him down-but he cant untie any of the knots that are attached to his neck- oh god this cant be real- this is just another nightmare- this has to be another stupid fucking nightmare.
Keith falls to his knees sobbing and holding on to Lance like if he lets go he will lose his world- but in reality- he already has.
Lances pale and broken face stares down at Keith.
