Chapter 1-Neighbours

Mum: Alexa! Come on! We're going!
Alexa jumped of her messy bed and ran down the stairs. She stopped at the mirror in the hallway and checked her reflection.
Megan: Alexa!!
Alexa: Coming mum!
She adjusted her skirt and top and walked to the front door.
Megan: Can't you just for once be ready before we leave? The new neighbours are expecting us!
Alexa: Sorry
Her mum unlocked the front door. They walked down the street, path a couple of houses until they stopped in front of a small-ish house.
Megan: Be on your best behaviour.
The pair walked up to the front door of the house. Alexa reached out to ring the door bell.

Alexa's POV

The door bell rung a few times before a woman opened the door. She would have been in her fifties.
Teresa: Hi! I'm Teresa! Come in!
Megan: Thank you! I'm Megan!
Alexa: I'm Alexa.
This lady was nice, I thought that I knew her from somewhere, but I could tell this was going to be a long afternoon. She guided us throughout a hallway and into a living room. It was nice and cosy.
Teresa: have a seat.
Mum and I sat on the lounge.
Teresa: So, Alexa, how old are you?
Alexa: I'm 23.
Yea, I know. It pretty sad to still be living with my mum at 23 but apartments are so expensive!
Teresa: really? I have a son who is 24!
Megan: oh! How lovely!
Agh! I could tell mum was thinking. I know she wants to get me to leave the house. She's willing to take every opportunity she can get.
Alexa: yea, that's nice...
I took out my phone and checked my twitter. Nothing.
Megan: Alexa! Put your phone away!
I groaned and put it back in my bag.
Teresa: No Megan, it's ok. She can use her phone. It must be boring to listen to us talk. If you want, you can go take a look around or find something to do.
Alexa: thanks.
I stood up and walked down the hall. I went up some stairs to the second level of the house. I walked into a bedroom that looked like it wasn't used often. There were barely any decorations on the wall. I sat down on the bed and plugged my headphones into my phone.
I went on to YouTube. Shane Dawson had uploaded a video yesterday so I watched that.
*In the video*
Shane: hey guys! What's up! So, um, I'm just hanging at Joey's house-
Joey: Hello!!!
Shane: we were just filming some Ask Shoey stuff so check out the link below for that!

The video ended and I sighed. I really did love Shane. He was such a funny and awesome person. I loved watching him. I watched a few more videos until I heard someone walking up the stairs. I thought it must have been my mum coming to collect me. I unplugged my headphones and put them and my phone back in my bag.
Alexa: I'm coming mum!
I called out to her so she new what room I was in. But it wasn't my mum who appeared at the doorway. When I saw who it was I fell off the bed!
Alexa: Oh my god! Y-y-y-your, your S-shane D-dawson!
Shane: what the hell are you doing in my room?
