"jisung, be careful up there!" minho laughed lightly as jisung treaded along the railing of a tall bridge, grabbing lights as support,
"calm down mom, I'm fi- WOAH" he yelled, slipping and falling back. he had a moment of panic before feeling a warm pair of arms holding his torso,
"I told you to be careful, squirrel boy." minho smiled, bringing warmth to the younger boy's chest.
jisung held the same railing, yet nothing about it was the same; the concrete was now covered in ugly scuffs, dirt and paint. there were stains from cigarettes and alcohol, some probably blood; all of it was pain. the main difference was that minho wasn't there to hold him as he cried. he cried out and held onto the railing so hard his knuckles were white. he wanted to scream out his name and hear an answer, he wanted to see his bright smile again.
he wanted his heart to flutter at their touch again, he wanted to have minho make fun of his blush. he wanted to hug him and kiss his cheeks.
he wanted minho back.
he wanted him back so bad.
minho was his other half and without him everything was empty.
he shot the boy another pointless, 'i miss you' text before turning his phone off and staring down at the water, dreading the idea that he had to go back home
but he had to go to school for minho.
