Jared cradled me against him, trying to calm me down,  "It's okay, baby."   

I clung to him, dizzy from the alcohol, the endorphins not to mention shock.   Laying my head on his shoulder for a moment I needed to make sure I understood what was happening.  

Lifting my head,  "Shannon?"   I asked breathlessly.
