Black... Darkness, that's all I can see but I can hear sounds, people talking. Sometimes it sounds like they are talking to me. Someone keeps telling me to wake up, but why would I? I don't want to be there anymore. I don't mind the darkness. It's quiet here. No one can hurt me here. I'm safe. Why would I leave it?
"Hey baby, you need to open those precious eyes for me today"

Ugh, what is that annoying sound? Why can't it just shut the hell up? It's making my head pound and my ears ring.

Sweet Mary make it stop! I slowly open my eyes but quickly close them once I'm blinded by a huge white light. Am I in heaven? No, people like me don't get to go to heaven.

I swear to god when I find the source of that noise I'm gonna murder it. Not fast and swift, but slow and torturous.

That's it! I open my eyes again, ignoring the brightness and turn my head searching for that insidious noise. Time to die... I search the room and I found it! It's the heart monitor... or maybe it's the IV machine? Wait, why are these machines in here?
