She Could

She wished as a kid
That she would get big
That she would get wins

She thought when she was young
That adult life was fun
That she had power over everyone

So she went head first, stuck up still
Then she rolled down a hill
Said she was strong, so she threw the pill

She wanted to prove
That she was a big deal
So she tried too hard
For compliments to reel

Pretended sympathy was fake
And that rules were a joke
And yet, she missed
But she was so close

Life grabbed her by the hair,
And swung her everywhere
Could never care
How much pain she had to bear

So she tried to prove that she could
Because she thought a title defined her
So she tried to be the highest climber

Her name was Nobody
And she went April 11th
Trying to prove to people
That she could
