Have you ever laid in bed in the middle of the night, and listen closely to the sounds that are made? It frightens you half to death, you try to ignore it but the noises keep messing with your head. As the candle in the background brings light into your dark room, You begin to panic after you hear a loud boom. It's not a little noise like the excuses your parents make, saying that what you are hearing is all fake. You bolt upright in your bed. Folding your knees in your arms, you hear what seems to be like car alarms. Right outside your window you see a car flipped upside down. Along with a family bleeding out on the ground. You get up quickly to lock the door, getting the cellphone that is dead for sure. Just then, your front door has been crushed like a bug. Your face is stunned with fear, you grab onto your covers and hide in the closet. However, you forgot how much noise the door makes when you open it. You hide under the bed instead. Trying so hard to hold your breath. The stomps grow louder as they come toward your door. Tears form up, and you can't help but cry. The stomps stop, you feel like your heart is about to pop out of your body. The door knob wiggles, and you flinch a little. Feeling worthless you start to tremble the wiggles stop, then there's the knocks. 1...2...3... each knock is almost one step closer; to getting your head stomped on. Your parents come home after having dinner, they see the door opened and walk through it without fear. They look around to see what's missing, not even bothering to be looking into everything. Eventually they walk toward your room. Your door creaked open a little. Your father opens the door with a creaking noise. Your body is on the floor all bloody. Your mother speaks "Oh honey we forgot to clean up our mess." Your father fixes his glasses and says "It was a good dinner; anyway what's for dessert?"
