as chaeyoung and yoongi walked towards the nearby playground, they were wrapped in a comfortable silence. no one talked but both enjoyed each other's company.

suddenly, yoongi decided to be brave. he thought that he was going nowhere when all he does is be anonymous. so having a little courage, he slowly started getting closer to chaeyoung as they walked. then, slowly reached for her hand and intertwined it with his. chaeyoung, being shocked by her sunbae's actions, looked at him surprised. all yoongi did was wink and let out his infamous gummy smile at her.

chaeyoung looked down and felt her face getting hot. she was surprised but she was also shocked at herself because she was enjoying it. could she really be feeling something about her sunbae?

they approached the empty playground and headed towards the swings. their hands break contact but within a second later, yoongi intertwined them again as they swung slowly.

"oppa?" chaeyoung broke the silence.

"hmm?"

"why did you hold my hand?" chaeyoung asked feeling flushed at her question but she couldn't help but ask because she was really liking their situation.

"because it felt.. right"

the same comfortable silence wrapped around them once again as they were still swinging, their hands intertwined with one another.

"is this um.." chaeyoung couldn't seem to find her words. asking this question made her heart beat fast than she ever expected. she only wanted to ask this because of yugyeom's comment. she kept thinking of what happened and was curious on what her sunbae thinks about their current situation.

yoongi looked at her, he wanted her to finish her question. he admits to himself that he's nervous but he doesn't want to show her. but his heart was beating 10x faster than it was when he first saw her close.

"..uh a d-date?"

yoongi smiled lightly at her because she looked so cute asking the question with her cheeks flushed and her shy tone.

"if you want it to be" he shrugged and scrunched up his nose at her to make her less nervous about asking the question.

"then i guess.. you're my first date" she slightly giggled and yoongi stared at her with his eyes full of love. ofcourse she didn't know that what she said meant so much to him. she just admitted that she wanted it to be a date. he couldn't help but smile at her as she giggled.

yoongi suddenly stood up and motioned for her to follow. he gave her a look then said: "come on" and pulled her along. they were running while laughing at each other. they stopped when they reached an open field. fortunately for them, it was quite secluded so no one would be able to spot them and it was also dark. he pulled her to the middle of the field while they breathe heavily from the running.

"chae.." yoongi whispered as he stared at her. she looked up and met his eyes. "..look up" she followed and looked up to the sky. she gasped in awe as she saw the bright stars.

"woah" she whispered as she smiled and playfully reached for them. yoongi looked at her, smiling at her as she playfully reached with her short arms. he knew then at that moment that he truly loved the short girl in front of him.

hey author here! i think this has been the first time that ive been really giddy writing a chapter. the feels guys wth. also!! thank you so so much for reading! i never expected that people would actually read my work. we have reached #1 in chaega and #2 in bangtwice!! im so happy!! i wish i can finish this book and give you guys a story that is worth reading, i hope you'll continue to enjoy this book and I'd also like to see your comments. love you guys so much, kansamnidaaa ❤
