The next morning Ishita woke up with swollen eyes and terrible headache.

R: Ishita, what happened? Tum theek to ho?
(Are you fine?)

I: Sir bohot dard kar raha hain.
(I am having a terrible headache.)

R: Aur aankhen bhi suji hui hain... kyunki raat bhar tum roi ho
(Because you had been crying all night.)

I: Nahi... nahi toh... aisa kuchh bhi nahi hain.
(No... nothing like that.)

R: Ishita, tumhe baatein mujhse chhupane ki jaroorat kab se padne lagi?
(You don't need to hide things from me.)

I: It's nothing of that sort.

R: What's stopping from coming near me? Kya mujhse koi galati hui hain?

I: Bilkul nahi Raman... aap bilkul galat nahi ho. (Not at all Raman.) Please don't feel guilty. It's all my fault.

Just then Neelu comes and tells them that Adi and Shagun have come to meet them.

Ruhi: Adi bhaiyya, aap humare saath rehne aaye ho???!!!

All the Bhalla members are happily surprised while Shagun was shell shocked.

A: Mumma, kal Ruhi ne mujhe bataya ki aap Ashok dad ko chhudana chahte ho. Lekin woh galat hain mumma, he is in the wrong. Tab mujhe ehsaas hua ki actually woh(points a finger at Raman as he feels awkward to call him papa) aur Ishita aunty itne bhi galat nahi hain. I want to give them a chance as well, Ruhi kehti hain ki woh mujhse bohot pyaar karte hain. Agar main yahan rahu kuchh din, toh mujhe do-do mummy-papa, do-do families aur do-do happy homes milenge!
(Mumma, yesterday Ruhi told me that you were trying to free Ashok dad who was in the wrong. And they (Raman and Ishita) rightly punished him. I realised that they are not that wrong. I want to give them a chance if they have always said to me that they love me and will do so forever. If I stay here and try to mingle with them, then I will get two set of parents, two families and two happy homes.)

The Bhalla family felt soothing and blessed to hear Adi's words and Raman-Ishita did not miss the words 'mummy-papa' in his statements.

S: (shouts) Adi!! Yeh saara lecture iss Ishita ne Ruhi se ratwaya hain jo usne tumhare dimaag mein bhar diya. Yeh sab tum mujhe kal raat ghar pe nahi bata sakte the?
(Ishita has fed this in your brain through Ruhi. Why didn't you tell me all this yesterday?)

A: Mumma... you came home drunk...

S: Enough! Do whatever you want to!

Shagun left from there knowing that if she stayed there even for a minute more, she will be inviting insults and taunts for herself.
Raman hugged Adi with tearful eyes and the whole Bhalla family joined the hug too. Ishita was looking on from a distance knowing very well that if she approached Adi so soon, that may irk him a bit.

-IN ISHRA BEDROOM

Raman hugged Ishita tightly. Both of them were crying, smiling, laughing. They had achieved a huge victory by winning Adi's trust and getting him back in the house.

R: Ishita I am so. so, so happy!

I: Even I am very very happy. Raman, Adi kitna suljha hua hain. Iska matlab jo efforts hum le rahe the uspe, they actually worked.
(Adi is such a sorted and matured kid now. Whatever we tried to imbibe in him actually had an effect on him.)

R: He became my good boy-Adi again! He became my son- Adi again!

I: Of course! Aap ka beta hain. Aap ke saare gun hain usme!
(He has all of his dad's qualities.)

R: Mera nahi, humara.
(He is not mine, but our son.)

I: Yaa. Humara Adi aa gaya hain humare paas.
(Definitely. And we have got our son back!)

They again hugged. Soon, they parted and Raman asked Ishita with a serious expression.

R: Ishita, ab sab kuchh theek ho gaya hain. Aur ab mujhe tumhare dil ki baat janani hain.

I: Baat... Kaisi baat?

R: Wahi jo abhi tum kehte kehte ruk gayi. Tum mujhse pyaar karti ho na?

I: (cupping his face) Of course Raman, khud se bhi jyaada pyaar aur vishwaas karti hoon main aap pe.

R: Toh mujhse kyun nahi keh pa rahi ho khulke ki tumhe kaunsi baat mujhse door rakh rahi hain.

I: Mujhe... mujhe darr lagta hain.
(Because I am scared.)

R: Mere kareeb aane ka?   (But why?)

I: Haan... actually, mujhe aapse nahi, khud se darr lagta hain.
(I am actually scared of myself.)

R: Kis cheez ka?

I: Main agar aapke expectations par khadi nahi utar payi toh...
(I don't think I will be able to meet your expectations in case of intimacy.)

She was in tears by then.

R: (wiping her tears) Ishita, yeh koi competition hain kya jisme expectations ya haar-jeet ho. Yeh toh ek khubsoorat rishta hain.
(It's not some competitions which someone will win or lose. It's a beautiful relationship we are talking about.)

Chahe Shagun ka aur aapka rishta kaisa bhi kyun na raha ho, there is no denying that she is a beautiful woman aur usne aapko bohot khushiyan bhi di hain. I am just scared...

Aur tumhari sabse badi taakat yeh hain ki tum dil se iss rishte ko nibhaana chahti ho aur khubsoorat banana chahti ho. Ishita, main kabhi bhi tumhe kisi aur ke saath compare nahi karunga. Jo humara hain, woh sirf humara hain. It's unique and only to ourselves. I won't ever let my past overshadow our future because I am sure our future is extremely bright and beautiful together.

I: Promise. I love you!

And she hugged him tightly.
