Imagine being at one of Palayes concerts with your best friend Sebastian Danzig. He had liked you for months maybe years. He had lost count. One day he took you to where they were performing a few hours before they started. He took you on stage and played a sweet melody. The start to a song you two loved together. As he played he started speaking. Sweet calming words that immediately relaxed you. You were always relaxed around him, though.
"(y/n), I want to tell you something. Something I've been dying to tell you, beautiful."
You were used to him calling you those names, he's been doing it for years. But this time it seemed different.
"I love you, (y/n)," he said.
That's his big thing that this all needed? "I love you too, Seb." you smiled brushing it off as a best friend kind of love.
"No, (y/n). I think you misunderstood. I'm in love with you. I fell for you so damn hard it's not funny. I've been questioning these feelings for months but they've always been there. Subsided. In my heart. Lying in wait for my brain to realize. I was in love with you before I even realized."
You were speechless. You just looked at him, your eyes wide and your mouth open. You stood up and started walking over to him.
He smiled sadly and his fingers missed a note as he played. "I just needed to tell you. Please don't think different of me now that I've-."
You cut him off by placing a hand on the one what was on the neck of the guitar, gently as to not mess the instrument up. "What if I want to think differently of you?" you ask quietly looking at him. You took your other hand and gently brushed his hair out of his face so you could properly look into his eyes.
A smile spread on those wonderful lips and set the guitar down. He embraced your form and kissed your forehead. You, of course, hugged him back loving to be in his warmth.
