You told me once
that all I need is trust
that you would never try
that you would never die.
You told me you would wait,
but I couldn't escape.
I looked up at the clouds and knew
Nothing was really true.
This entire world is one big lie.
I still don't know why.
You go ahead.
I stay behind
Memory in your head,
as mine will rewind.
You told me you would wait,
I didn't have enough time to escape.
You came back to save me.
I don't know why.
You broke my heart,
you made me cry.
I gave up trying,
I lost hope.
You came to find me,
you cut the rope,
If you ever read this,
you need to know,
That you saved me,
and wouldn't let go.
