Chapter 1 Kayla's pov

I jerked up in my bed only to have a pain in my side and a smiling Idiot brother Michael staring at me with a grin.

Michael is my baby brother, he's 17 about 6'2 and has no mate just like me. He's in college studying for alot of things such as being a lawyer, art teacher, airplane pilot and so on, he's a very talented guy lol, and it takes alot for me to say that because you know brothers and sisters are like friend/enemies soooo I think you get the memo.

Also to say he's buff is an understatement because all the girls in college swoon over him.... His ego is way to high with his platinum blonde spiked hair and crystal blue eyes that any girl would die for, his mate is gunna have a hell of a time keeping those girls away in the future.

All those traits come with our alpha genes though passed down from our father.....Soon I'll be alpha female, the first ever in history because the werewolf council changed the law from not letting females be alphas, to now seeing our potential and strength, letting us show them we can survive and run a pack as well for a trial. Besides that I guess I better tell u what's happening in reality right now before I kill a family member.

"What the fuck Michael that hurt!" I tryed to stand up but I got seriously dizzy and I sat back down on my bed. My wolf is in defense mode and ready to attake, Michael backed off a bit when he saw me shaking and put his hands up even higher.

"Oh whatever... you've had worse" he said with a cheesy smile

"Your so lucky I'm not kicking your ass right now!!" I said with a low menacing growl

"Oh I'm so scared Kayla" he said putting his hands to his eyes in a crying manor. "What are you gonna do.....give me one of your famous death glares, those where so last year sis?!" he said with a hoarse laugh.

"That does it asshole!!!" I pounced on him before he could even say a word let alone a twitch, I started beating his head with my hands and lemme tell u I am laughing my ass off, I looked down to see Mikey giving me the "What-the-fuck" face.

Just then my mom yelled "Kids!!!!! if you don't get your asses down here this instant you will not be getting steaks for a  month!!!"

With that being said I ran to the shower tripping over a book in the process..... I looked over my shoulder on the floor to see Mikey leaning over hitting his knee laughing so hard his eyeballs could fall outta his head. His face was so red he looked like an alien and his eyes were bulging out. Surprisingly I laughed in return and slowly got up and headed for the shower while rubbing my sore knees from the floor trying to kill me.....

*35 min later*

I got out of the shower and I could hear Mikey downstairs making racket trying to make toast. I sighed in relief when I pulled my fluffy red robe on which btw is my absolute favorite robe xD.

I was thinking about what I was going to wear when I thought about my favorite vans and I had the best idea, I ran to my closet and dug out a pair of cute white skinny jeans, a red V neck t-shirt, and a pair of my favorite black vans, I jogged to my bathroom and put on mascara and dark eyeshadow with a little eyeliner to make my eyes pop. I just leave my hair wet naturally down.....

I take a quick look in the mirror and nod approving of how I looked, my black hair fell in waves and curls down my back almost reaching my butt, and my makeup is perfecto haha. At last I ran as fast as I could down stairs and almost fell on my face half way. I chuckled to myself and then my chuckle went away real fastwhen I saw my mom giving me her evil eye.

"Woops.....I forgot not to run down the stairs" I walked shyly to the kitchen table and sat down looking at my empty plate soon to be filled to the top with yummy food.

"Good morning" I said in a hushed tone to my mother, father, and brother in the kitchen.
