ALEXITHYMIA: Inability to express emotions verbally.

"If a customer is waiting for the waiter, does he become a waiter because he's waiting?"

These were the thoughts Haechan was having during his first period. Math is not his thing. And honestly asking himself these odd and answerless questions felt better than thinking about his encounter with Mark the previous day.

He looked up at the board seeing all those numbers and as his head starting to hurt he leaned his face down on his desk closing his eyes.

"Thanks for having deigned us with your presence, Mr Lee"

Haechan looked up and his eyebrow raised as he saw Mark standing in front of the teacher's desk nodding in response to his ironic comment.

Mark walked through the seats and sat down at his desk without looking not even once at the poor Donghyuck that couldn't help but stare wanting to exchange eye contact with the older boy.

During all the lesson he couldn't help but stare and side eye and turn, so much that the professor himself scolded him a couple of times.

At break he didn't feel anymore the sensation of someone following him because it was him that followed Mark.

Was Mark not interested in him anymore? Did he do something wrong?

Haechan got out of school stretching his back,he couldn't wait to go home and rest after that hard and strange week, but there,on the other side of the side walk not too far from his current position was Mark, just standing there leaning against a pole.

Haechan walked up to him smiling "Hey...I see you're finally back"

Mark didn't even turn around to exchange eye contact keeping his eyes fixed on the road in front of him "yeah, you have good eye sight"

Haechan chuckled not receiving once again any reaction from the older boy "why have you been ignoring me?"

"Ignoring you?" Mark thought about it for a little before raising his eyebrows "you mean why have I stopped staring at you in class?"

Haechan hated to admit but he really didn't mind those attentions Mark had given him,to be honest he was starting to miss them. He liked thinking that he was the focal thought in one's head.

"You noticed?" Said Mark looking brieftly towards Haechan.

"It's hard not to notice your stares ,Mark Hyung"

"I just thought it bothered you. So I stopped doing it.."

"Well,it doesn't!" Haechan Said with a tone he soon regretted,he said it with excitement, like if he really cared, maybe too much.

"Weird..."

Yeah, maybe they were both weird in their own personal ways.

Right then a  car pulled up in front of the two boys, it was a dark black car,you could see it was very expensive.

Haechan looked over to Mark, the older boy scoffed impatiently.

Did someone maybe come to pick him up?

The tainted window was pulled down by the driver, who leaned in smiling,he had red dyed hair and pale skin.

"Mark,I'm sorry if I took awhile but there was traffic"

Mark put up his shoulders not saying a word.

"Is that a friend of yours,Mark?" Said the red haired boy pointing at Haechan who smiled shyly, and once again no answer from Mark,he simply entered in the car and folded his arms showing a mixture of annoyance and hatred in his expression.

Who was this person? And if Mark hated him so much why would he get a ride from him?

The driver looked at him and sighed losing his patience for the younger boy,he looked back at Haechan smiling once again.

"I'm Taeyong, I'm Mark's older brother."

"Haechan" answered the younger quickly.

Taeyong smiled softly, and Haechan naturally smiled back, the two exchanged a brief eye contact before Donghyuck rapidly started walking away from that location.

That eye contact....it was brieft, nothing to be impressed about thought Donghyuck, the type of eye contact you give to someone you just met.

If only he knew that Taeyong's soft smile and that quick eye contact would be the perfect mixture for caos.
