Don't you dare call me "beautiful"
Until you see me at my weakness times
Until you see what carves my body
Until you see the scars that cover my once perfect soul
Don't you dare tell me in flawless
Until you've seen me break down
Until you have to hold me
Until you see this darkness that consumes me
Don't you dare call me lovely
Until I completely shut down because I swear you're like the rest
Until I pull away from you because you simply touched me
Until you can hear my screams for help
Don't you dare call me perfect
Until you've seen me
At 2 in the morning
With blood running down my legs
Tears running down my face
Don't you dare call me cute
Until you've see what lies beneath my twisted smile
Until you have seen what I can do to my body
Until you go under
DON'T YOU DARE
But,
If you've seen me in my dying hour
My hopeless moments
If you held me when all I wanted was death
When I was falling apart
If you've seen the scars that cover my body
The hopeless remarks
If you've seen my demons
And that doesn't change a thing
If you've seen the monster I can become
The one that rips her skin apart
Then maybe
Just maybe
I can believe you
But until then
It's all just lie
All just empty words
