Round and Round
so tired
my eyes burn
lids so heavy
I just want to sleep
how much longer
can this go on
haven’t we said
all that need be said
we are just repeating
going round and round again
nothing has changed
nothing resolved
why do we continue
are we both afraid to say
what we know to be true
what Is
we fight passionately
but that is all we do
we need to stop
I am too tired to fight
let’s just end this
once and for all
we may have loved once
but somewhere along the way
we forgot
why we were
I am tired
my eyes are burning
I have no more tears
