*trigger warning - deathS*
-sometime in the future after Oliver dies, Felicty and the kids are relocated out of Star City-
"Did you guys have have at the beach with Aunt Thea and Uncle Roy?" Felicity said through the phone craddling her newborn son.
Although she was widowed in her fifth month of pregnancy, she tried to hold on strong for her now three kids. She, Will, and Mia relocated into a hidden suburban home miles away from Star City. While being a single mother to three qas difficuly, occasionally, old friends would stop by. Most of the times it was Thea and Roy, since they had left to start normal lives years ago. Also, William would always help out with his younger siblings as well. Sometimes John would come to visit, but also to keep updates with Felicity about herself and the conditions back in Star City.
"Alright, William, see you and Mia in a bit, okay," Felicity said hanging up the phone. Leaning back on the couch, she continued to craddle the tiny baby in her arms.
"Hello Connor, look who's awake," she said in her baby voice. He stirred awake and fluttered his eyes. "Oh, you look just like your father."
Admiring, her son's resemblance of her passed husband, Felicity looked up for a moment noticing a red dot on the wall. She looked behind her at the window and noticed how the dot refracted through the glass. Quickly realizing what it was, she leaned forward moving the centerpiece on the coffee table and pressed the button underneath.
Suddenly, all the windows and doors were shut by steel plates and a loud repetitive beeping sound went off.
Felicity pressed the button beside it, and spoke through what seemed to be a speaker in the table.
"John, they found us," she said frightened.
Suddenly, there was a loud bang at the back door.
"Hurry!"
.......
-hidden underground bunker-
"Mommy," said little three year old Mia. "Why is little brother leave?"
Felicity wiped the tears from her eyes and knelt down to her toddler.
"It's so he can be safe, baby girl. You see he doesn't know or understand the things me, uncle Diggle, or the rest of us do yet, like you and William. So mommy and uncle Diggle hope that maybe if little brother doesn't know about the stuff we do and the bad guys we fight, and they don't know about him. He'll be safe."
"Can we visit?"
Felicity's eyes began tearing up again, "No... no honey, we can't."
"Felicity," John entered the room, "it's time."
Felicity stood up wiping her face. "Um, William can you take your sister and wait in the other room."
The twelve year old took his younger half-sister's hand and sorrowfully left the room.
"Felicity," John said again.
"And you said this couple, they're safe?"
"The father used to run finances for the security guard company I worked for and now is a bankteller. His wife runs a bakery. They live in the quit suburbs on the East Coast. They have no connection to ARGUS, League of Assassins, magical creatures, etc. He'll be safe and hidden."
"Okay," Felicity's voiced cracked. She looked down at the sleeping babg boy and softly rubbed his small head. "I'm so sorry Connor, I hope someday you'll understand that we all love you very much. Me, William, Mia, and especially your father. I'm not sure what he'd think of our decision, but this is for your safety... I love you."
