Hi guys!

I told you guys I would try and continue these; I've decided to continue holiday shots until the end of the month! It'll probably end up being a mixture of Christmas and New Years shots, just because.

So anyway, in this one - it's Christmas Eve, and it's fluffy. Peter and the kids surprise Mariska with something she's always wanted - family photos done at Christmas. It's all cute and fluff and greatness; just Petska and the kids being themselves.

Enjoy xoxo

Peter x Mariska - Photos for the Holidays [ONESHOT]

Christmas holidays - a time for family and friends to come together, eat until they were stuffed, laugh until their faces hurt, and relax so that they were refreshed and rejuvenated before returning to their normally hectic lives. Family came from near and far, from all walks of life, to gather in one place to have a magnificent feast and reminisce whilst making new memories as well.

It was a beautiful holiday; perhaps the favorite holiday of the Hargitay-Hermann family.

Peter and Mariska often fulfilled the Christmas wishes of their children; never failing to mark off everything that was on their lists, but they also instilled values within the children and taught them to understand the importance of working hard. The children knew their parents worked hard to make Christmas great for them, and they were very appreciative every year of all the presents they would receive. The kids even came together to get presents for their parents; sneakily and unbeknownst to each parent as they would plot with one to get a gift for the other. They enjoyed their times spent with the various family members and friends, enjoyed the yearly tradition of creating ginger bread houses with Aunties Debra and Isabel and Ali and their families. Christmas was just a beautiful, joyful time of the year.

Mariska rolled over in the king-sized bed of their Los Angeles home, though her eyes snapped open when she realized that instead of rolling into the warmth and comfort of her loving, protective husband, she had rolled over into the cold sheets and pillows as they pressed against her bare skin. She frowned in confusion as she sat up while holding the covers over herself. Judging from how cold the other side of the bed felt, her husband had been up for a while. She listened for a moment, and her lips curled into a smile when she heard the deep timbre of his voice, the infectious laughter of their three little angels, and the shrill bark of their dog, Kaia. Eager to join them and begin another beautiful Christmas Eve, she scrambled out of bed and quickly pulled on a pair of leggings along with a t-shirt that belonged to Peter. She did a quick check to make sure her hickeys weren't noticeable, before she then made her way out of the master bedroom and down the stairs.

She followed the sound of their voices until she came to the French double doors that led to the back patio and huge back yard and pool, which was covered. She simply stood in the doorway for a moment, taking in the sight before her as she smiled. The kids and Peter were still in pajamas yet were running around; the four of them were all running around and kicking the soccer ball, while Kaia was running with them. They were chatting together and laughing and hadn't yet noticed that Mariska was awake and was watching them with a sweet smile on her face.

Kaia popped her head up once she noticed, and she tottered over to Mariska while letting out a shrill bark as Mariska fussed over her. This captured all of their attention, and the kids went running to tackle her for a hug while Peter walked over to catch them, smiling immediately at the sight of his wife.

"Good morning, Mom!" The kids all burst out as they hugged her as tight as they could. Mariska dotted kisses onto all their heads, before letting them run off to play again. Peter told them to go ahead, before then wrapping his wife up in his arms as she slipped her own arms around him as well.
