Levi: Alright, you better listen up. We need to have a talk. I was going to do this with your dad, but he bailed out on us, thus, I will be the one to break it down to you.

Levi: Now, Adam I know that you are growing up, your almost twelve so, I think it is the appropriate time for us to have this chat. You must have alot of questions about how babies are born or how a girl and a boy meet. Go ahead, ask whatever you are wondering.

Adam: Alright. I was wondering alot of things. Like, how was Anna born? I never saw dad get a belly even though when someone gets a baby they usually get really fat. But you and dad just came home one day with her. How did that happen?

Levi: *Sight.* You see, dad didn't give birth to Anna, we adopted her.

Adam: Huh? What's adopted?

Levi: It means that we saved her from some very mean and bad people, just like we did with you.

Adam: Ooh! So that's why! Alright, I have another question.

Levi: Go for it.

Adam: My friend, Jake, he kissed me. I was scared because I had never kissed anyone, but you and dad do it all the time and I always thought that you should only kiss someone who you love. So I asked him if he loved me and he said yes. Is it alright if we kiss even if we are both boys?

Levi: *Composes himself.* Uhm, yes. It is alright to uhm love someone of the same gender, just, uhm, just don't kiss them now because you are too young for that. Yes, right.
