The sound of fumbled footsteps could be heard as Jimin walked to school, receiving agonising stabs of pain from his ankle if he dared put too much pressure on it.
He had managed to get out out of his house before his mother woke up, but that didn't stop the thoughts of worry running through his head.
What is she's still angry when she wakes up? Will she beat me again when I get home? What if it's worse than last night?
The boy sighed as he entered to school gates and looked around in worry. The last thing he wanted to put up with was the trouble those bully's brought along with them. Jimin began to walk down the hall, but was stopped by a hand grabbing his forearm and dragging him off somewhere. The blonde's eyes widened with panic as he turned to see who had grabbed him, letting out a breath of relief as he saw it was Jungkook.
Something was off, though. He looked.. serious.
Jimin's eyebrows furrowed as he let the older drag him away and back out of the school, his confusion only continuing to grow. "Where are you taking me, Kookie? Did something happen?"
Jungkook's lips curved upwards slightly as he glanced back at the shorter. "Something happened alright." He chuckled.Jimin only tilted his head in utter cluelessness as Jungkook led him away from the school. "Wait, we're not ditching are we?" Jimin's face grew with worry.
"We are." Jungkook smiled, "It'll be worth it though. Just wait, you'll love it. I knew I was right!" Jimin's face only seemed to scrunch up more as curiosity built up inside him. What could be so amazing that they'd miss school for it? "Are you sure, hyung? You know what can happen if we get caught!" He began to panic. What if the school realised they were gone? What if they called his mother? What if she found them!?
Jungkook pulled Jimin next to him and slung an arm over his shoulders, glancing at him through the corner of his eye with a reassuring smile. "We'll be fine, Jiminie. I promise you won't regret this." Jimin let himself relax a bit. They'd be fine, right? He really hoped so.
The younger watched as his friend led him to a pretty far away forest, eyes widening as he realised where they were.
"Jungkook hyung! You know this is private property! It's restricted to everyone, no ones meant to go in here!" He whisper-shouted in shock.Jungkook glanced at the younger, "Yeah, so?" He grinned.
"I'm not going in there!"
"Suit yourself. You can wait here then." The older shrugged before climbing over the metal fence separating the forest from the public. "Fine!" Jimin replied.

."Wait! I don't wanna be alone!" Jimin cried before rushing to climb over the fence, panic written on his face. Jungkook laughed before going to help the other get down safely as he had noticed Jimin can't do much with that ankle of his. He grinned as he set the younger down safely on the ground. "So you ready?"
Jimin gulped. "Y-Yeah."
"Great! Let's go!" Jungkook smiled brightly before rushing off into the large trees, his silhouette slowly disappearing from sight.
"H-Hey! Hyung, wait up!"
Jimin took after Jungkook, doing his best to follow him after he had decided to run off without warning. He struggled with the burden with his ankle and almost fell multiple times, but after what felt like ten minutes, he was soon face to face with a large cave-like tunnel. Jimin gulped as he walked around to what he assumed was the entrance, seeing Jungkook there waiting for him.
Jimin sent Jungkook a light glare, "Really? This is what you wanted to bunk for, hyung? A cave?" He asked, panic fading away and turning into annoyance. "Just wait. You need to see what's inside before you get angry." Jungkook assured before pulling out his phone and turning on the torch, making sure it was on the brightest setting. "Let's go." He winked at Jimin before walking inside of the giant tunnel.
Jimin quietly grumbled before following Jungkook, glancing around at the dark surroundings. I've never seen a cave this big. It's weird.. it's almost too big. it has to be at least 30 feet tall. Jimin furrowed his brows at the thought but continued to follow the older, sicking close behind him. Until Jungkook came to a sudden stop that is.
Jimin lightly bumped into his back before looking up at the back of his head in confusion and growing worry. "Hung.. why are we here?" Jimins voice had a slight quiver to it as he whispered. "This is why." Jungkook whispered back before raising the phone, the torch raising with it to show what was in front of them.
Jimin's eyes widened in utter horror.
In front of them was a twenty feet tall cat-like beast, dark purple eyes staring into their souls. It had raven black fur covering it's massive frame, with large, grey feathered wings producing from its back. It snarled at them, sharp teeth coming into sight as it raised a paw with sharp claws making theirselves visible and it let out a menacing roar.
Jimin let out a scream, "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!?"
Jungkook laughed, "It's a he, not a thing."
