Kalani Pov

I feel a lot of pressure today because I'm the only one who has a solo and I need to please Kendall with my dances. Like Abby said "You owe it to her". I already have my hair in a bun with a little angel clip. On the bus ride there I sit by myself and listen to my solo music and look at old pictures of Kendall. There was a picture of Kendall, Maddie, and Gianna. Kendall and Maddie were wearing there Bodies Electric costume. That was when Maddie was me and Kendall's friend. We arrive to the competition and find our room. The competition is running a hour early so I have to put on makeup and my costume really quickly. I run my solo two times with Abby and then I'm called backstage. I run my solo in my head a thousand times! "Entry number 101, Kalani with Tears of an Angel!"The announcer says, she would also like to dedicate it to Kendall Vertes. I walk on the stage and take my position. As I start my dance all these memories flood in my head about Kendall. I do my front aerial perfectly. I pretend I'm flying to see Kendall in heaven. When I am done I get a standing ovation from the judges and the audience. I smile and lyrical walk off. "Kalani that was amazing!"Abby gushes. Soon the focus is about Maddie and Chloe's duet. I sit in the audience and wait for there number when a man comes up to me. "Are you Kalani, entry number 101?"The man asks. "Yes."I say. " I am a Joffrey scout and I would like you too dance at our dance school."The man says. "Thank you so much, this is my dream!"I say. I grab my mom and they talk. It's official after this competition I am moving to New York!!! "Kendall I will make you proud."I think to myself. Soon solo and duo/trio awards happen. "Our highest scoring solo of the whole weekend.... Kalani with Tears of an Angel!"The announcer shouts. I get first overall in the teen division. "Highest scoring duet Maddie and Chloe."The announcer says. We are running the group and the Joffrey dude came in. "Hi I'm sorry but none of you with the exception of Kalani didn't make it."The man says. I see Chloe and Maddie get really mad. "Pretty Tragedy!" The announcer says. We walk on and get into our spots. "Right before we left to go backstage my mom told me that Joffrey is a dorm so she is staying in Pittsburgh and Her and Jill are going to be room mates. I put my heart in this dance since my mom won't see me dance for awhile.

"Highest scoring group and first overall Junior group dance.... Pretty Tragedy!"The announcer announces. a After that I give Abby a hug and she wishes me good luck and stuff. I hug all the moms and leave. You noticed I didn't hug the girls. The mom I hug the longest is Jill because she's like my second mom. I cry when I hug her because I think of Kendall.

Kendall Pov

Today Kalani was amazing and she got into Joffrey! Im so proud of her! Poor Maddie and Chloe didn't make it. I think this Joffrey thing is going to be great for her but I can't help it Why Me? Why am I a Pretty Tragedy, I want to be down there talking with my BFF Kalani, going to school, and DANCING.
