I am in a line next to Lily and Alyssa for the competition team. I'm rather nervous because I really want a solo. I tug on my black booty shorts and pull up my pink sports bra out of habit. A young looking lady comes into the dance studio. "Hello you all may call me Melissa I will be assigning your dances and I'm your head dance coach."She smiles. "Rachel and Brandon will be my assistants."She adds. A lady with long dark brown hair comes in and a blonde boy with beautiful greenish blue eyes walks out. "The group dance will be called Wild horses and there will be a duet Autumn and Mia."Melissa says. Autumn and Mia hug each other out of excitement. "There will be 2 solos and one will go to Sophia, it's a contemporary piece called "Over you". Sophia beams and says thank you. "Next solo is going to Kalani and it's called "Try". I am so happy right now! Sophia and I aren't competing against each other because I'm a year older and that's when the division closes or whatever. Sophia and I hug before we warm up because we got the solos. We do a couple of jumping jacks, back stretches, and the splits. We learn a little bit of the group. Ashi and I split center while Sophia is in between us doing a turning sequence into an aerial. Then Ashi and I do a needle while Sophia does a front aerial. I like the dance because more than once each person gets to shine but Sophia is a really good dancer and so are Ashi and Chloe. Everyone is amazing but I have my eye on them. "Uggh Lexee is absent again!"Melissa says. "Alyssa you are in the group dance as of now."Melissa sighs with a slight smile. I'm happy that Alyssa gets to do the group dance rather than Lexee. We are all dismissed and I walk with Chloe and Sophia back to our room. "You two are lucky you have solos."Chloe says. "Thank you."Sophia smiles. I say nothing and pull out my headphones to listen to Love Me Harder by Ariana Grande. Suddenly I get a text from Maddie.
That's not funny
Me: What's not funny
Maddie: U writing I will get u on my bathroom mirror
Me: I didn't do that
Maddie: Then who did
Me: If you maybe used your brain that I'm all the way in New York and your in Pittsburgh and that I would have to fly to come just write that, ur really stupid.
Maddie: It said K signed at the bottom but u do kind of have point....

It's time for revenge yea I wrote that on Maddie's bathroom window. Anyway I really miss you Kalani I hope you miss me because you sure don't seem like it.
