Epilogue
3 WEEKS LATER
Olly..
I wiped the gold plate plastered on the brown door and smiled as I revealed it to myself in its most shined GOLD.
OLYVER CARTINA, General Physician.
I smiled at the door as I heard, "Its amazing, huh?" I jumped as I turned around and seen Doctor Harmon. I took a deep breath and laughed, "Yeah it really is. I cant wait til start here on Monday."
"I cant wait for you to start. How is the moving in coming along?" He asked me as we walked down the hallway and I responded, "The furnishing company came by yesterday to finish the downstairs and 5 bedrooms. It is really coming along. Actually, we are having an house warming Saturday. Some of my family is coming up. Its going to be nice."
"I know Quincy told me. I said ill try to stop by after the few checkups I have." He told me as I hugged him. I walked out of the Doctors Office. I ran over to the sign and snapped a picture in front of it and sent it to CartinaClan group chat. Its really official. I really cant believe it. I climbed into my new rangerover and my bluetooth in my car rung. I seen O.J name across my phone screen and pressed the green phone.
"Hey, O.J. Whats up?" I asked him.
"I took Saturday off for the House Warming..so Teddy, Viv, and I will be there earlier than expected." He told me. I laughed, "Thats fine. I need Viv to help make these Margaritas anyways."
"She says she is excited so have Junior replied to your invite?" He asked as I backed out and drove down the road headed to the Villa.
"Nope. It showed that he read it, but I got no response and honestly I dont blame him. He feels at fault for causing that scene that rushed dad to an immediate surgery and caused
Mick to lose the baby." I stated as if O.J didnt know. It went quiet. That day at the Park was going so damn good. We literally was having a great time. All I remember is Junior saying he was going to the car to get something and returned with the gun pointed at Tito. What no one did see was Juan gun was on his hip. I am happy no bullets left any chambers that day-so I thank Dad for fainting. However, Loso confession sent me into a cold place. He spoke with some much hurt, anger, and passion. It felt like I was watching a movie. Then, at the hospital Doctor Sharon Goodwin and her team had to come and perform the removal of the tumor surgery or my Dad would have died. 16 hours of sleeping in that waiting ended with the tumor out and my Dad in a medically induced coma-which was part of the plan. They waited a full week before waking him to make sure any swelling he had had gone down. He woke up and even played as if his memory was gone. My Pops almost slapped his ass. Now he just on medication to make sure all the cancer cells are gone.
He did wake up to some sad news about Mickey. He had to deliver the baby and well his heart was outside of his chest. Thats right it was a boy. It was sad we had a little memory for him at their house after my Dad was released from the hospital. Since then everyone kind of went into their own lives trying to forget about what happened like we always do. Not trying to show our hurt, so Frankie and I packed up and moved into our new house.
This pass monday I sent out a txt about our House Warming and everyone said they was coming. Even Dream who is leaving back across the waters with Marckus and baby Tiana, Sunday. I just want positive vibes and great times. Thats why I invited Junior still but it seems to me he isnt going to make it.
Moments later, I pulled into our drive pavement and seen Frankie's Telsa. Bae is home early. I stepped out of the car and walked over to the front door and unlocked it. I walked in and man was it cold in here.
