A/N: *Chuckles evilly* I just spent two hours making final adjustments to the upcoming plot... I actually kind of feel bad for what I'm going to do to y'all. But it won't happen for a few more chapters, so relax, put your feet up, and enjoy these last happy chapters before everything goes to shit.

Groff's POV
August

I was in high spirits as I arrived at the studio today. We'd finished filming the sex scenes last month so that uncomfortable time period was over. Seriously, it had taken me several tubs of ice cream and plenty of nights hanging out with Anthony, Jasmine, and some other friends of mine to recover.

Today we were filming some scenes from one of Holden's interrogations, where he gets some pretty murderistic ideas into his head. A little disturbing, so I'd read some Machiavelli last night to prepare for it.

But that wasn't why I was excited. Tonight, Lin flew in to visit me for a bit before flying back with Sebastian. I was basically vibrating with excitement, having not seen him for weeks.

Hannah sensed my energy as soon as I walked in. She was lounging on the couch in my dressing room, something she'd taken to doing after becoming my therapist over the sex scenes. We'd become pretty good friends, actually.

I bounded into the room, my mood as high as balloons in the sky.

She sat up and brushed her cascade of hair out of her eyes. "Woah, Groffsauce. What is up with you?" She peered at my face suspiciously. "Have you drunk a whole pot of coffee without me?"

"No!" I exclaimed, plopping down next to her. "Lin's coming in today!"

She brightened. "Yay! That's awesome, Jonathan!"

Something dark wove through my mind. A memory, forcibly repressed, rose to the forefront of my mind. Before I could shove it down deep, I remembered flashes of blood and screams. "Please don't call me that."

Hannah looked surprised for a bit, then remembered. "Oh. Yeah. Sorry, I forgot."

"Not your fault," I sighed. "But yeah, he's coming in today. I'm ecstatic!"

"I can tell!" she laughed. "You must really love him."

I beamed. "I absolutely do. He's just the sweetest, most adorable, snuggliest person in the world."

Her eyes went all soft. "That is the cutest thing I've ever heard!"

I shrugged, but couldn't help but grin. "I try. It's hard upstaging a writer in sweet talk, though."

She swatted me playfully. "Poor thing!"

Fincher poked his head in the room. "Groff, Gross, get your asses to the set!"

Hannah rolled off the couch. "Ugh," she groaned. "Fine. Coffee first."

I rolled my eyes fondly. "You were energetic just a second ago!"

"Shh!" she hissed. "Don't let him know!"

    Fincher hmphed. "Still here, Gross."

Hannah smacked her head on the ground and groaned loudly.

"We're coming!" I said cheerfully, dragging Hannah by the arms out the room.

Hey, the sooner I was done, the sooner I would see my boyfriend.

Later That Day

I was at the LAX airport once more, Sebastian running in circles around me as I stood impatiently, craning my neck to try and spot Lin in the crowd of people exiting the luggage pickup.
