Gun is a Youtuber who likes to go around interviewing couples to see if they are loyal. Off so happens to be one of the couples Gun interviews.

"what's up with you and Off ?" Nook asks Gun while he was editing his most recent Exposing Cheaters episode. "what do you mean ?" he asks, turning around in his chair to face his friend. Nook shrugs, "you literally just tweeted a picture of him, you never do that. you two would be cute together though." she laughs lightly and Gun shakes his head.
"i literally just met him. plus he's having a baby, he has no time to date anyone." Gun explains and Nook nods, "with that girl who cheated on him ?" Gun nods.
"she doesn't want the baby. Off is planning on raising it on his own, so there's clearly no time for dating." Gun sighs and Nook eyes him, before breaking out into a smile, "you have feelings for him, don't you ?" she teases and Gun quickly rejects her question. "of course not ! he's my... friend ?" he himself doesn't even know what he and Off are, friends ? acquaintances ? strangers ?
"so if he asked you out, you would reject him ?" Nook questions further and Gun shakes his head, "you wouldn't ?"
"wait, no ! i would reject him." Gun exclaims and Nook laughs. "if you say so. how did you even know it was his birthday ?"
"he's famous, i just searched his name and it came up." he explains and Nook hums, "yeah sure, you wouldn't date him." she teases and Gun nods and turns back around in his chair to continue editing.
once he's done he goes on twitter to announce his new video.

"he called you cute !" Nook exclaims running into the room to tell Gun, "what ?" he asks confused, Nook rolls her eyes, "who else would call you cute ?"
Gun looks at her with feign offense, "everyone thinks i'm cute." he pouts and Nook rolls her eyes, holding in her laughter. "sure, i mean Off." Gun makes an 'o' shape with his mouth and Nook nods. "i don't know maybe because i am cute ?"
"i hate you." Nook groans and leaves the room to a giggling Gun.
after a few more minutes Gun's phone vibrates and he turns it on to see Off had texted him. with a smile on his face he quickly opens the conversation.

"jesus christ, Nook ! stop scaring me !" Gun jumps at the sudden voice for the second time that day. "i was not !" he defends but Nook shows him her phone, she had taken a picture of him texting Off. "i really don't like you." Gun playfully groans and Nook giggles. "what were you even doing ?"
"texting Off."
"i knew it." Nook smiles to herself and Gun rolls his eyes. he doesn't like Off, they're FRIENDS, like Tay and New.
