This could be the end I was hanging 40 meters above the ground on the side of a building, if I fell I would surely die. I had a little infant that seemed fast asleep by now lying in my dressing gown. I could hear my Mother mumbling things to herself, I didn’t sound like English, it sounded more like Latin, which is strange because my mum hates the Latin language. I finally built up enough momentum to swing my foot up to the ledge, this was my last chance. I took a deep breath in and with all my force swung my foot up, but as I did this my hand slipped and had let go of the window frame. It felt like I was flying for a second, I was in mid-air. Luckily my foot caught onto the ledge and my hand followed. I felt a bit unstable but was happy I made it. I sat down with my legs dangling off the edge trying to gather my thoughts before I moved on. I looked around; the sight was amazing I could see were our little blue Volkswagen Mini parked on the long, dusty road. There were trees everywhere I couldn’t believe that this is real life.

I turned my head up to the window and to my great surprise; there just starting at me with soul crushing eyes, was my Mother! She didn’t make a sound until I looked at her. “HONEY, WHY ARE YOU RUNNING FROM ME?” she said in an evil voice. I could tell that now that was not my mother, it was like a spirit and overcome her. There is nothing of my mother left.

She clawed at me, but she was too far to reach, I was terrified I didn’t know where to go. I’m on the side of a building. Looked around for someplace to go but all I could see was more windows along the ledge, I thought this would be my best bet considering that my mother was dragging my dad around so that should slow her down a lot. I stood up but it was very hard to keep my balance, but I did it and started shuffling sideways along the 60cm wide ledge. I looked down at the baby and luckily it seemed like it was still asleep but I wasn’t too sure because I couldn’t focus.

I looked back at the bathroom window and my mother was lifting my father out the window and would soon climb out herself. I know what you’re probably thinking, Lifting a lifeless body out a really high window? Well yes that sounds weird, but I’m not kidding my Mother has super hero strength? The demon I presume. I quickly looked to my right and saw another window around three meters away from where I was sitting. This would be a huge risk, but I had to move quickly before my mother climbs out and drags me back into the window. I slowly move onto my knees and crawl to the window, as I am crawling I look down and see this head poking out a window a few floors down just staring at me. I chose to ignore it because I have a bigger problem to deal with, I looked back to see where she was but my knee slipped off the ledge then followed with the rest of my body.
