Ezekiel's POV

When I arrived at the school I directly went to my seat. And as usual my friends gathered around me.

"Yo ez, how are you bro?" Jamie asked me.

"I'm fine. go away." I said. I'm not harsh, that how we really talk to each other.

"Fine eh? You just miss her so much that's why you're--" I cute Geoff of by hissing at him.

"shut up dude." I said while sending glares at him. He just raised both of his hands as a sign of surrender.

Our topic was diverted to another topic when suddenly one of my classmates entered the room and shouted.

"Ms. Lusend wont be present today, so it means her time is vacant for today!" My classmates cheered and shouted and started going out of the room.

I stayed in my seat and get my earphones from my bag and played some music, yes I love music. It comforts me.

I played Happier by Marshmello.

Lately, I've been, I've been thinking
I want you to be happier, I want you to be happier

 When the morning comes
When we see what we've become
In the cold light of day we're a flame in the wind
Not the fire that we've begun
Every argument, every word we can't take back
Cause with the all that has happened

I think that we both know the way that the story ends

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I want to raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

I was quietly listening to the song when Geoff suddenly pulled my headphones off.

"hey!" I groaned at him. I was enjoying! more like mourning.

"Men, listen, I know you miss her, and we miss her too. but can you please stop being so over dramatic? Les-" before he could even say her name I stopped him by interrupting.

"Dont you dare say her name." I glared at him again to show him how serious I am.

I dont want to hear her name because I'll just miss her more. And only I can call her Lesley.

"okay okay, but can you please stop mourning already? lets just eat instead. Man we can't stand seeing you broken just because she left you for--" I stood up and walked out, I know they're following me.

They don't need to say it over and over again. I know her reason. But it still hurts.

when we arrived at the cafeteria we bought some snacks they continued chit chatting, so I put my headphone on again and continued listening to music.

When the evening falls
And I'm left there with my thoughts
And the image of you being with someone else
Well, that's eating me up inside
But we run our course, we pretend that we're okay
Now if we jump together at least we can swim
Far away from the wreck we made

Then only for a minute
I want to change my mind
'Cause this just don't feel right to me
I want to raise your spirits
I want to see you smile but
Know that means I'll have to leave

I leaned my head back to the chair and closed my eyes to feel the music. Then I cant help but to fall asleep. With a broken heart of course.
