The next day. Harley was heading to her piano lesson, the detective approached her and asked her to go to the principals office. When Harley and the detective entered the principal's office, Cordelia, Winter, Daisy, Rain and Kit were all sat down.

Detective: please take a seat Miss Brown.

Harley sat down between Daisy and Rain.

Harley: what's going on?

Detective: we have found another piece of evidence. A cigarette.

Winter: but Clover never smoked, she thought it was disgusting.

Daisy: she did that night, she lit one before, well you know.

Detective: well the strange thing is, the cigarette wasn't stubbed out, it was still going, it never died out.

Harley: what, how?

Detective: we don't know yet Miss Brown, forensics are looking into it. Miss Grigg, you say that Miss Evergreen smoked on the night of her disappearance, correct?

Daisy: correct, m'am.

Detective: have you ever seen her smoke before?

Daisy no m'am.

Detective: what about the rest of you, did you ever see her smoke?

Winter: no m'am.

Harley: like Winter said, Clover thought that smoking was disgusting.

Cordelia: never.

Rain: no.

Kit: nope.

Harley: Daisy smokes.

Daisy: snitch

Harley: bitch

Detective: Miss Grigg, at anytime at the party, did you offer Miss Evergreen a cigarette?

Daisy: no m'am. She took it out of my bag.

Detective: right, well then. You may all be dismissed, except you, Miss Grigg.

Daisy: what? Why?

Detective: you were the person that saw Miss Evergreen last, you're our prime suspect, we're taking you in for questioning.

Daisy: please you have to believe me, I'd never hurt Clover!

Detective: I know Miss Grigg, but you're still a suspect, it doesn't matter how much you whine, you'll still be a suspect, until evidence proves otherwise.

Daisy broke down.

The girls hugged her.

Harley: good luck, Daisy.

Everyone left the room, it was just Daisy and the detective, that was left.

Detective: Miss Grigg, if you'll follow me please.

Daisy tried to speak, but her words were drowned out by her tears.

The detective escorted Daisy, she put her in handcuffs, she lead her to a police car, that was parked in the school's tennis court.

Detective: if you would kindly get in the car, Miss Grigg.

Daisy nervously flopped into the police car, she looked out the window and saw, Cordelia, Winter and Harley all huddled together. Daisy caught their eye's. She waved, they waved back blowing kisses. Daisy chuckled to herself, wiping a tear away.

The car sped away into the distance. Daisy rested her head against the window and hummed a tune to herself.

Detective: we can put some music on if you'd like.

Daisy: please.

The detective turned on the radio, east of Eden by Zella Day was playing.

Detective: is this ok?

Daisy: this is my favourite song.

Detective: good.
