After just moving it was a hard adjustment not gonna lie. It was really weird everything was different, nothing like I thought it would be. Moving from the little state of New Jersey, in America, all the way to Sydney,
Australia was a huge jump. I move a lot but it was always in the U.S. The move was all because of moms damn job. It sucked ass, we were always moving. I have never really been the one to have many friends, I would have a few but it was hard cause I never lived in the same place for more than 3 years.

I am so excited school starts in two and a half weeks, most kids dread school but for me it was where I could get away from my mom and brother.

That's right, a brother. His name is Justin, he is 9 now. I feel bad for my mom, she has 16 year old girl and a 9 year old boy and let me tell you we are a handful.

My mother is the worst of all she used to be laid back and chill until Dad left and she went ape-shit. She is constantly up my ass about everything she is successful and I guess wants me to be too. Her excuse is always I just want "what's best for you"......BULLSHIT! She knows I don't believe her! She makes me slave my ass away with homework and housework.

Honestly I love going to school but I hate the work. People call me a goody goody cause it's what my mother is trying to breed me to be. She has been trying to change my personality and everything about me. She doesn't understand that I like who I am.

It's the best when I am just home alone which is normally while my mom is at Justin's soccer games. Which is where they are now. I just blast the iTunes Radio, for me music really clears my head. I couldn't live without music.

I hear the door swing open and I just sit in my room waiting for my mother to scream my name to come down stairs and do something. In 5.....4......3.....2 "EMMA TURN OFF THAT TERRIBLE MUSIC AND GET DOWN HERE!" So I unplug my phone from the speaker and stomp my way down the steps. Once I get down there, I see four 9 or 10 year olds sitting in my living room all with the same dirty soccer jerseys on. I walk right passed them without looking up from my phone. Right as I make it to the kitchen my mother snatches my phone and gives me this glare that she has like she is disgusted. She looks at my phone and says, "technology is ruining society make yourself use full and take out the trash will you?" She asked, as if I had a choice.

I pulled the trash bag out tied it and decided to go barefoot. So I made my way down my drive way and out of the middle of no where a 6'0 tall, blonde hair and blue eyes boy ran right into me on his skateboard. I was knocked right on my ass, we both tumbled, I was kinda in shock my elbow hurt so bad but I wasn't going to let him know that. He got up brushed himself off and then helped me up.

He was so tall and he was wearing black skinny jeans, like skin tight, and a Nirvana cut off with black vans, and a beanie covering most of his hair except the front part of his fringe. To me the fringe was a weird concept cause they didn't have that in America.

He quickly turned really red in the face as did I, he apologized once I was on my feet, he saw me holding my elbow and asked "Are you ok?" It took me a minute than I answered " Yea I am fine it's nothing" . After answering him I slowly let go of my elbow even though it was still throbbing. He picked up the trash bag, handing it to me and said "I think this belongs to you".His voice was just adorable and right after handing me the bag he had this smiling smirk on his face. He slowly went to walk away then stopped dead in his tracks and turned around. He opened his mouth as to say something then turned back around. He only took a couple steps before I noticed he had dropped his phone, I didn't know his name so all I could think to say was, "Hey" he whipped himself around. "I think this is yours" I said picking up the silver iphone 5 off of the ground. He took the phone from my hand and then said, "Thanks, oh and by the way I am Luke". Without even breathing I said, "I am Emma" I felt so stupid I sounded like an idiot, I wanted to slap myself. So we awkwardly walked away. I occasionally glanced over and he still had the smiling smirk on his face. More than half way up my driveway I hear a Australian voice yell out, " So your my neighbor?" as he walked up to the house next to mine, I wasn't really sure if he was talking to me so I just kept walking. Once I got in the house I kinda felt rude for ignoring him if he was talking to me I looked out the window to see if he was still there, he wasn't.

As I walked into the living room, the boys were screaming and the house smelled like sweat mixed with the stench of feet, it was disgusting. I went straight to my room and thought about Luke and how he had the smirk. What did the smirk mean? I guess I couldn't have meant much, right? It probably meant nothing, maybe that was just his face?

All night I couldn't get Luke off of my mind, but why? He was just some dumb skater boy, but for some reason this skater boy was different. Finally I fell asleep. I couldn't really sleep so I went on twitter till I just fell asleep.
