Khya
We pulled up to Oakland Mall and all got out the car. As soon as we got out the car Kameron stopped us and told us not to take too long because he wanted to see mom and Khyler and Kyndall. We already discussed our birthday outfits the week before so we just had to find it. We both decided on all white with gold accessories. We were going out to dinner with our family and then having a small hotel get together with the few friends that we did have. We went into this boutique Marcia told us about and found the white pants we were looking for. They were simple yet cute with rips in them. After that we went to some unknown store and found these cute white long sleeve body suits. I thought it would be cute to wear some clear thick heels and a gold clutch. I was going to let Khyra pick our hair styles since she always said I made most of the decisions in this. So once we had our outfits instead of going out to eat Kameron said he was going to pay to get Khyra nails and feet done so we headed home so we could eat mom's dinner together as one.
When we turned on our block it seemed as though the whole neighborhood was out and all you could smell was barbecue. I was glad we didn't go out to eat because I knew a few people were going to invite us over. I pulled into the driveway and seen smoke coming from our own backyard. I knew since mom was barbecuing a few of our family members were going to stop by. We all got out but instead of going through the front door we headed towards our backyard. We saw our mom and her 2 sisters, Chanel and Candace sitting there talking and laughing. "Hey y'all", we all spoke before our mother looked at us with a big smile. "Hey babies, did y'all find everything for the dinner?" We nodded and went to put our clothes in our room. The way our room was set up you had to pass our room to get to the front so once we left out our room we headed towards the front and seen our siblings playing with our aunt Candace 5 year old daughter Jada. We spoke then went to the kitchen to see what our mom was cooking and seen the whole lay out; corn on the cob, baked beans, mac and cheese, ribs, hot dogs, chicken breast, potato salad, and dessert. I was so ready to eat but I knew it was going to be about another hour before we actually ate.
I decided to go sit on front porch to see what the neighborhood was doing. Not even 5 minutes of sitting on the porch, JaMar came out of nowhere and stood in front of me. "I know you seen my message Twin. Why you ain't respond?" I laughed at his fake mad face and playfully rolled my eyes. "I knew you were going to be coming out so instead of messaging I figured you would pop up like you just did. Plus this isn't a conversation to have through social media. If you're going to try to get my twin you have to be prepared." I told him and made sure that he knew I wasn't playing. I know JaMar has been trying to get with Khyrah for years but since she wasn't interested in love she always turned him down. I sat up and he leaned in, I was about to begin with my little speech when Kameron came out. "What's good bro? Why you all in her face like that" he asked JaMar. Little did he know I was about to give him advice on how to win our sister's heart. "This ain't that Kammy. He wants Khyra and I was going to give him advice." Kameron looked at me like he was crazy before he looked at JaMar, "listen nigga, you cool and all but I'ma give you a word of advice if my sister does allow you to get close to her, this is your only warning" he said while leaning in closer to him. "Break her heart and I'll break your face." And with that he patted his shoulder and got off the porch to walk down the street. "Well then, I have to agree with Kameron but honestly Khyra has seen some things that made her not want to date EVER. If you're going to try to get with her you have to be her friend first. Make her fall in love with being your friend then once she's comfortable enough she'll be the one wanting the relationship.Don't force anything on her and if you aren't serious about her and only her, leave her alone. Now I'm going to go talk to her and I'll let you be. In 30 minutes come out back and hang out." And with that I got up and walked away. I could only hope he was serious because my sister deserved to be happy.
