#18 The Flames Brothers

A/N: Sorry for not updating, i've just not figured out the ending yet.. and i've been exhausted because of school.. but i have february break now.. (which we have in sweden) and i will try to update as much as i can.. and like i said, i haven't figured out the ending with green goblin yet, so i don't think he will be a part of the following chapters.. that's why there are new villains (Like the Flame brothers) and all.. but that's good, because it means that it will be a while until this story ends.. I hope you like it! And oh, i know it's not today.... but Happy Valentine!

When Tony told Peter to stop looking for Green Goblin, he got really really mad. Not at you, for Tony didn't tell him that you told tony about it.. and you felt really guilty over it. Because Peter took it hard..

"I can't believe it! I am an avenger now! And he still treats me like i am a kid!" he said, "you're a kid" you said. He gave you a glare in response, "i know that" he said, in an annoyed tone. "I just thought he saw me as you know.. a hero. Not a kid that needs protection.." he said.

So  now, Peter thinks that Tony doesn't see him as the hero Peter want him to see. Which is not true, because you remember what Tony told you when you told him about it..

Flashback

After you told him, he did get a little disappointed.. like how parents gets disappointed. "Don't be mad at Peter" you said "he just does his jobs, i'm just worried about him" "i know, i'm not mad. I'm just a little disappointed because of what he does to you" he said, "what do you mean?" you said. "y/n, he is a great superhero.. and it's his job to do this kind of stuff. But, i'm just disappointed because.. well, you're worried sick about him and he doesn't think about that.. that's not good. When he does his job, there's a risk that he will get hurt and if he does get hurt.. people that are close to him won't be happy.. people like you and me" he said and you smiled. "I'll tell him to stop" he said, you sighed of relief  "thank you" you said and gave him a hug. "It's a shame tho, Peter is good at what he's doing.. he could've a chance to catch that guy" he said and you didn't say anything.. was he mad at you for this? "But don't worry, Peter is to young to die.. i will tell him to stop" he said and you hugged him again.

So, Tony doesn't think that Peter is weak, like Peter Claims. He only did it for you.. which made you feel guilty because now Peter is so mad at Tony.. when it wasn't even Tony's fault.

You want to tell Peter that it was really you, but, you're worried that he would get as mad at you as he is at Tony.. and you didn't want that.. but still, you hated this.

Months passed and he still didn't forgive Tony, he didn't look for Green Goblin, but he was still mad.

The only time he wasn't mad at him, was at christmas, because he got a nice christmas gift from Tony.. and since it was christmas, he wasn't mad.. so you thought that he was over it, but nah.. it was just over christmas, because after christmas.. he was still a little bit mad at him.

It was February now, February 14, and you two celebrated Valentine Day.. at his apartment.

You had just baked brownies together and it was put them in the oven, "i can't believe you're still mad at Tony" you said and closed the oven. "Well, i did have a chance to catch him, y/n! And then he told me not to! Do you get how stupid that is? I mean, he throw away a chance to catch him" he said "No one have seen Green Goblin around, maybe he have already died, or given up" you said as it rang on the door bell, you opened the door and it was the pizza delivery guy. "No, he's not dead.. he's the one responsible for all the fire at the buildings, in New York" said Peter, it was true.

In the common Months, it have been a lot of Fire's in New york, that, according to the fire men and the polices, was caused by someone. People thinks it's Green Goblin. "Actually, no" said the pizza guy, while you was checking the money to pay for the pizza. "What do you mean no?" said Peter "They say on the news that it wasn't Green goblin who set the fires at the buildings" said the pizza guy. "Then who was it?" said Peter "Security cameras caught to men setting a building at fire, the police have been haunted them before but in Connecticut and they call them the "Flames brothers" said The pizza guy, you was going to pay him the money. "No" said Peter and stopped you.  "i'm your boyfriend i should pay" he grabbed his wallet and gave the man money. "Thanks, happy valentine" he said "you too" you said as Peter closed the door.

You put the pizza down and began to set the table, "What do you want to drink, babe?" you asked, he didn't look up from his phone. "Babe?" you said, no response, "Peter?" you said and still no response.. "PETER!" you screamed and now he looked up to your phone. "What?" he said "what do you want for drink?" you asked, with a fake, annoyed smile. "Just some coke" he said "thank you for answering so fast" you said in a sarcasm tone. "I'm sorry, i just checked the news, looks like the pizza guy was right. It wasn't Green Goblin, it was the Flames brothers" said Peter and you started to eat the pizza. "Then i could be right, Green Goblin maybe gave up" you said "Or he's planning something big" said Peter "and the Flames brother's are just distraction".

"Maybe the Flames brother's are a job for Spiderman?" you said with a smirk. "Nah, i'm probably too weak for that, according to Tony" he said "you're not weak" you said, mad. He just rolled his eyes. "Hey, you're more than that.. Peter" You said "Tony just want to catch him, himself and get all the credits" You shouldn't have said that.. oh that was a bad idea. "You think?" he asked, aww.. he got happy. "Yes, you are an amazing super hero" you said, he smiled "thanks, y/n" he said. "I'm going to look for the Flames brother's" he said and you smiled "just be careful, because i love you Peter and i don't want you to get hurt" you said, grabbing his hand. "You love me?" he asked and you nodded "very much" you said "i love you more" he said. "That's not possible" you said, you finished the pizza, then watched Titanic while eating the brownies you baked.
