USING LOVE AS THE DEFAULT EMOTION

Okay, I think we all know at least one 'couple' who are literally both like, 12 years old. Who go around saying that they love each other and that they're gonna be together forever, but will you though?

And we all know that one sophomore and junior couple that have only been together for a couple of months but act like they've been together their whole lives by the way they're all over each other in the hallways.

Look, I'm not saying that it's not okay to date people, because it is. I'm saying that it's okay if you don't say "I love you" to the person you're dating.

Isn't that why we date people? To figure out who we love and who we don't love?

I mean, why has love become the default emotion for all relationships? Why do you have to feel love right away for it to be real? Why do you even have to feel it at all?

If you really do love someone, then you should tell them. But if you don't, that's okay. You shouldn't have to feel pressured to say "I love you" to every person you're in a relationship with.
