Chapter 5

After 1 year and 6 months, Hyunjin and I are still dating, but something was off about him. He started to stop caring about me and treat me horribly. He was acting so cold and rude to me. But I still loved him and cared about him anyway.

Ever since that day when he said that he was going to walk home with me, he changed. All I could think of was these questions; why is Hyunjin so rude and cold towards me lately? Did I do something wrong? I loved him so much to let him go, but does he still love me?

No P.O.V

Y/N was thinking to herself when Hyunjin called her.

On the phone

Y/N: Hello?

Hyunjin: Y/N, can you meet me at Naejangsan National Park, at 4 pm?

Y/N: Oh sure but why?

Hyunjin: You'll see when you come.

Y/N: Ok then, bye.

Hyunjin: Bye.

End Call

You look at the time and it was already 3 pm, so you decided to get ready. After 30 minutes of getting dress, you head out early to Naejangsan National Park to meet Hyunjin. When you got there, you saw Momo and Hyunjin holding hands while making out.

When I saw Momo and Hyunjin making out, I felt like my heart broke into millions of pieces. My world was destroyed see them like this. All I could think of is, why Hyunjin, why? Why did you cheat on me with Momo, my bully? What did I do wrong? Why did you break our promise? I started to feel tears coming down my face as my eyes were becoming blurry. I turned around and started walking back home, while I just kept crying. When I got home, Jackson saw me crying and throw so many questions at once for me to answer. But instead of answering his questions, I end up running to my room, locked the door and cried even more, while leaning against the door. I kept crying until I heard Jackson knock on the door and asked with a calm voice, "Y/N, can you open the door for me?" I opened the door and Jackson hugged me to comfort me as I needed to calm down. After a couple of minutes, I pulled away from the hug and told Jackson everything that happened at Naejangsan National Park. After talking to my brother, I went to my room and looked through all of the pictures I had of me and Hyunjin together. I started to feel sad and angry at the same time as I remember all the good times we had together. So everything Hyunjin gave me, I put it in a box. I thought of burning the box, but I decided to give it back to him on Monday when we come back to school. I placed the box under my bed and muted my phone.
