Y/N was the perfect student. Best grades, looks, popularity, wealth, almost anything a high school student may desire.
You would think that she'd have lots of friends at school. No. She only has three friends. Yeonjun, Soobin, and Taehyun. She didn't have any female friends, because all of them were jealous of her. Only three male friends, because the others want to be "more than friends, with Y/N.
Yeonjun, Soobin, Taehyun. They were something. They were known as the visual triangle, but also had their individual talents. Yeonjun is a kpop trainee, Soobin has an amazing brain, and Taehyun is very athletic.
During lunchtime, the four of them could hear whispers from neighboring tables, like always.
Somehow, dating rumors went around quickly, even if they're false. The newest dating rumor just came out. Y/N and Soobin.
Most people know that Y/N and Soobin have been friends since they were 4, and they looked like they were the closest duo in the quartet.
Of course, the quartet knew that the rumor was fake. Y/N and Soobin just pushed it aside, but Taehyun kept teasing them. He kept saying that they'd look like the perfect couple, and how they would grow old together. What no one knew, was that Y/N already had someone in her heart.
For the next few days, Yeonjun acted pretty weirdly. He would barely talk when he was with the group. Most times, he would try to avoid being with them at all. Y/N took notice of this, and was very annoyed by it.
After school one day, Y/N asked Yeonjun to meet her on the school roof. Yeonjun didn't seem interested, but still agreed.
Y/N was waiting on the rooftop. When she saw Yeonjun coming, she ran up to him.
"Why are you avoiding me and the others?" -Y/N
"Isn't it obvious? Why wouldn't I be annoyed that a "false" rumor that two of my best friends are dating that could potentially be true and-" -Yeonjun
"Oh so you were jealous?"-Y/N
"I never said I was" -Yeonjun
Y/N gave out a small chuckle.
"Remember how I said that I have someone in my heart? I'll tell you who it is if you hang out with us again"-Y/N
She brought her pinky out to Yeonjun.
He linked his pinky with hers.
Y/N went on her tip-toes, and cupped her hands around Yeonjun's ear, and whispered, "You".
On the outside, Yeonjun was trying to act happy but cool at the same time. On the inside, he was euphoric at Y/N's confession.
He couldn't hide his inner feelings, so he took her by the hand and pulled her close to him. He knew that Y/N wasn't the kind of person who would be ready for her first kiss just yet, so he gave her a soft kiss on her cheek. They smiled at each other for a long time after.
