Barcode

I'm being crushed to pieces
Being put on and off shelves.
I feel like I'm being torn
From the people who drop me.

My heart sank to let you go
Seeing the dark lines on me.
And those lines are permanent
They can never be erased.

I was once bright, with clean skin
But now, I have too many lines to count.
The paper was once fresh and new
But no one's buying me, I'm worn out.

Then, I saw light, coming up above me
It blinded my eyes.
But it stayed there for some time
Making me feel warm.

Someone took me in with them
I finally had a home.
Now, the last thing
Was the click heard by the barcode.

I'm really sorry that this isn't really an imagine, but it's a poem inspired by the song "Barcode" by Vinxen and Haon from "High School Rapper 2". In this poem, I'm comparing the bitterness of the hard training to the black lines on a barcode, and the light of the scanner, being the chance to debut. I'm super sorry, but I have a lot of imagines in the making!!
