Something more (Soramafu & Urasaka)

Chapter 1

"Oi Mafu hurry up, we're gonna be late!" A certain brunette shouted as his albino friend frantically ran down the stairs of the brunette's house.

"I'm coming, I'm coming Ama-chan," replied the albino, known as Mafu.

Mafu was a first year in high school along with his best friend Amatsuki. They had known each other since childhood and were always seen together. At some point people thought they were dating, though the rumors eventually stopped once people found out that Amatsuki already liked someone else.

"Come on we have to meet up with Urata, Shima and Senra." Amatsuki said as he started walking out the door.

"I know, I just overslept a little," Mafu replied.

"You always oversleep," Amatsuki sighed.

As they were walking to school they chatted about random topics like if they had homework, how late they slept and other things that came up to their mind.

"Oi."

As they were getting near the gates they heard someone speak to them and turn around to see their small, tanuki friend Urata along with Shima and Senra. They had met Urata in middle school and he soon introduced them to Shima and Senra. At first Mafu seemed a bit scared of Urata but got to know him more and soon they became friends. Shima and Senra were dating by the end of middle school, and their friends were happy for them. Although they got annoyed at some point with the others teasing them but they laughed along.

"Hey guys," Mafu happily replied as he sent a smile that could cure depression to his friends.

"Did Mafu happen to oversleep again," was the purple-haired, Shima's question.

"Yep, and we were almost late cause of him."

"Hey it's not my fault you woke me up!" Mafu quickly answered back at Amatsuki's comment.

"But you-" Urata was saying until Senra cut him off.

"Come on guys we don't want to actually be late now cause of a small argument." And with that the blond named Senra walked ahead.

"Wait up," the other four said before hurrying up to not be left behind.

While entering the school they were half paying attention to the chatter in the hallway.

"Look it's Senra, isn't he so cool."
"Not as cool as Shima."
"Why can't Shima and Senra be single."
"I wish i could date Amatsuki-san."
"Too bad he likes someone else."

Yep, the five of them were popular in the school. At first people used to bully Mafu but once he started to hang around with Amatsuki and Urata people turned the other cheek. How funny that people change their views so quickly at the drop of a hat, was Mafu's thought when they started acting nice towards him.

While walking towards their class they noticed that people have gone silent, whispering, and glaring at something, more like someone. They stopped walking and turnes to look at the person, realizing who it was. It was none other than Soraru.

Everyone in the school knew about the raven-haired senior. He was quiet popular in the school just like the guys, although for a completely different reason.

Mafu just stared at the male that walked by, not looking at anyone. When he did meet his eyes with someone he just glared at them causing them to look away in disgust.

"I bet he got into another fight."
"Why is he even in the school, he's a delinquent."
"Bet he threatened people to let him stay."
"He should just drop out if he doesn't think school is important."
"Yeah, who does he think he is."
