Two years later
Life had been great for us.
Brynn is almost three now and adores her one and a half year old brother, Jersey Phoenix Jay Kingston.
I became a well-known interior designer and Jake was the CEO and founder of Kingston Enterprises.
Jason got arrested a few years ago after Jayce testified against him because of Jack's advice.
Blake and Madison are expecting a baby boy. They're leaning towards Lake Matthew Davis.
As for Jayce and Emerald, they're engaged and just had a set of twins, Jacob and Jade.
Ansely and Brynn are so close you'd think they were sisters. Chase never came back around, I'm guessing he's content with his life now.
"Mommy, I drew you a picture!" Brynn came running into the living room, shoving a drawing of our family in my face.
I smiled at her, "that's wonderful, baby girl."
A bright smile traced her natural pink lips, "thank you, mommy."
Not even a minute later, Jake ran in the room, chasing Jersey, who was frantically trying to escape his father's grasp.
His cheerful giggles filled the room, immediately bringing a smile to my face.
Because Jake had just returned from work, his jacket was carelessly tossed on a chair.
The sleeves of the tux he usually wore rolled up, his tie hung on his neck.
Even when he didn't care, he managed to look smoking. How he did it is beyond me.
Jersey ran over to me, hugging my legs, "Mommy! Save me from dada!"
I giggled, a huge smile on my lips.
He was absolutely adorable.
Pulling both Brynn and Jersey onto his lap, he sat down next to me.
On my lips formed a smile as I laid my head on his shoulder.
The scent of his colonge was intoxicating me.
Once our kids fell asleep, Jake turned to me, a devious smirk on his lips, "you tired, baby?"
Fighting the urge to roll my eyes, I bit my lip.
I knew he hated when I rolled my eyes.
He said it was disrespectful to him.
"Not really, but whatever you're thinking, unthink it!"
His smirk only grew wider, "too late."
A groan escaped my lips, "Jake...."
He sat the kids on the couch and covered them up with a blanket.
"So, baby...... what do you want to do? Pizza or fooling around?"
His words sexually frustrated me and he knew it. He knew only mentioning it turned me on.
"Would it be wrong if I said both....?" I trailed off, staring into his dark brown eyes.
Stepping closer to me, he grinned, mischief evident in his eyes.
He picked me up, causing me to wrap my legs around his waist.
Kicking the door open, he tossed me onto the bed.
He climbed on top of me, kissing my neck and lips passionately, "I love you, baby."
I threw my head back, giving him more access to assault me with his mouth.
Pretty soon, we heard a knock at the door.
Groaning in frustration, Jake threw open the door, a glare directed at our visitor.
"Jayce, what the hell do you want?"
"Oh, sorry to interrupt, but may I remind you it's your freaking birthday?"
A smirk played on my husband's lips, "I'm aware. Are you aware of the concept of a locked door? It usually means don't disturb."
Jayce rolled his eyes, "sorry, didn't know it applied when your friends want to celebrate your birthday. You're twenty one Jake, let's go to a club or something."
"Nah. I don't want to celebrate at a club. I'm good right here."
"You can't spend your birthday at home, you did that last year."
Flicking Jayce off, he growled, "I said I was fucking busy!"
Once Jayce reluctantly left, I sat next to Jayce, laying my head on his lap, "why don't you want to celebrate your birthday with your friends."
"Because, baby I want to celebrate it with my wife. I got my cake right here," he whispered in my ear, sitting me on his lap so I was straddling his waist.
A grin spread across my lips, "here's your birthday present from me. Happy birthday, Jake Kingston."
His fingers held a bottle of tequila, a faint smile resting on his lips.
"Babe, what's wrong?"
"My mom got pregnant off tequila. It was how she had me."
Feelings of guilt swirled through me, causing my smile to falter.
"Do you not like it?"
His brown eyes traveled to mine, "I like it, but I'm scared to get drunk. I'm scared to drink so much that I do something I'd regret, like my mom did."
"Jake. Your father loves you, no matter if Katie does or not. He'd never see you as a mistake. He sees you as a damn miracle."
Grabbing two glasses, he slowly poured them.
He handed one to me, "if I'm doing it, so are you. You're twenty one too."
I brought the glass to my lips, downing it like a shot.
Emptying his glass, he pinned my hands above my head, "blame it on the achocol, baby." His undeniably husky voice was driving me crazy.
"Happy birthday, babe," I whispered, letting him have his way with me.
His fingers grazed every inch of me, especially parts of me I wouldn't let anyone else touch.
His mouth followed all the places his fingers did, making me moan as I dug my hands into his hair.
The burning taste of the achocol was driving me crazy as he pleased every inch of my body.
I hope he had a good birthday....

This may be the end, but there will still be bonus chapters of our other friends, so stay tuned.
Dangit Jayce, did you not learn anything from sex education?
Anyway, happy birthday Jake.
Tequila, huh Brooklyn?
Can Jersey and Brynn be anymore adorable?
Both of them will also have a chapter later on in the book by the way!
