A Midnight Kiss

New Years Eve Morning

It was the morning of New Years Eve. They have been thinking about this day for years. They're going to do a live show for New Years, and at midnight, they're going to kiss. Their fans don't know that they're dating, although most of them speculate that they are. Dan and Phil are very anxious about tonight. They're going to start the live show at about 11:00PM, so that the show would be about an hour long. They woke up at 10:00AM to watch their morning anime and eat breakfast together. They went about their normal routine, until Dan mentioned tonight. "Phil, I'm nervous." Dan said. He didn't want to admit it, but he needed comfort. "It's okay, we've been waiting for this day for years." Phil replied. "I know, Phil, I'm just anxious." said Dan. "Do you want me to comfort you?" Phil said with worry in his voice. "Yes, please." Dan said shamefully. They went to snuggle on the sofa so that Dan could calm down. Phil was moving his fingers through Dan's luscious brown curls for about an hour, when Dan reminded Phil that they needed food for tonight. "We should get happy New Year crowns!" Phil said excitedly. "You're such a dork Phil, but I love it." said Dan lovingly.

                           *2 hours later*

Dan and Phil are in a taxi on their way home from the store, when Phil reaches over to hold Dan's hand. When their hands touched, they looked at each other and smiled. They knew that they were doing the right thing.
