A Midnight Kiss

The Live Show

It was 10:30PM, and there's 30 minutes until they go live. Dan was still nervous, but he was excited. They are already wearing their New Years crowns, because Phil couldn't wait another half hour. They start preparing the food on the table so that it was ready for the show. Before they knew it, it was already 10:50PM. They started to set up the computer so that they could start the live show. "Phil, are you really ready for this?" Dan said nervously. "Bear, believe me, we're ready." Phil replied confidently. "Ok, let's do this!" Dan said excitedly. Phil hit the "go live" button and waited for everyone to arrive. Dan had to remind Phil to tweet the link, as always. The fans were all trying to get noticed and asking questions, and a few fans asked about the food that they were eating, which Phil found funny for some reason. The hour passed relatively quickly, and before they knew it, it was 11:55PM, and there was 5 minutes until midnight. Everyone in the chat started hyping up Dan and Phil and everyone else. Soon, everyone in the chat started counting down from 10. Dan and Phil counted down with everyone. "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one!" Dan and Phil yelled together. Once they hit one, they looked at each other, held hands, and kissed. The clock struck midnight, and everyone in the chat was freaking out. They ended the live show with the words "A midnight kiss", and they closed the computer screen, smiled at each other, and they knew in that moment that they were happy.
