Chapter 10: crying doesn't make you weak, it makes us human

Guys!! I am really sorry that it took me so long to update!! If you read my other avengers fanfic (The avengers are my teachers) then i am sorry but that book is easier to update than this one but dont worry i didnt forget about this book!! Thanks so much for being so patient too because this is my schedule when im not having games: School, Homework, Practice, eat then sleep so I havent gotten much time to update. Please be patient and there will be another update today and i might even write some chapters so i can update them throughout the week! Thanks for being patient here ya go!

"Ask her to describe her surroundings." I told my dad. He relayed the information back to mom. I landed the jet on the outskirts of town and put on the reflectors so no one could see us.

"She says she is in an alley."

"Yea that helps us so much." I said with much sarcasm in my voice.

"It's by a hair dressers." He said. I nodded then started walking.

"Wait, shouldn't we have a plan?" Steve asks. The fantastic four appear out of the woods looking ready along with Elizabeth also looking ready. That made me mad, she is only about 8 why is she going into battle.

"Yea look for the hairdressers." I said.

"Dad, ask her to describe it more." I said annoyed and wanting to just get this over with. He nodded then asked her.

"She says it has green shutters and there are 4 old men in it." He said. I knew exactly where it was.

"Shouldn't she be staying behind? Don't you think if we run into Loki she will be in danger?" I asked pointing to Elizabeth. Everyone looked at her.

"She will be fine." Reed said. I huffed then started walking away.

" Who put you in charge?" Johnny said walking over to me and getting in my face. That just pissed me off more.

"Well considering that I am he only one here that knows where we are supposed to be going I put myself in charge. Unless you would like to lead us somewhere making us get lost and putting agent romanoff in even more danger then be my guest but for now I am leader." I said to him getting more in his face.

"How do you know where we are going?" He asked. I backed off a little bit.

"That's for me to know and you to never find out. Let go. Everyone stay behind me and don't draw attention to yourself." I said starting to walk away.

"Well if anyone gets attention drawn to us it's spangles over here." Tony said behind me. I just kept walking.

"Are we almost there?" Steve whispered in my ear after a little while of walking. I nodded in a yes motion. We were getting very close, so close I could feel my anxiety rise.

"Dad, where is she?" I asked him. He relayed the question into the phone.

"In an alleyway to the right of the hair dressers." He said. I nodded and kept walking. I saw the hair dressers. I looked inside and just as I had remembered there was the 4 old men and the horrid but beautiful green shutters. If that's even possible. I looked strait ahead and saw two alley's. I turned to face everyone.

"Okay, dads, Steve, reed and Elizabeth come with me we are going strait ahead. Johnny, sue, Ben, tony and Thor go into the other alley. Phil, his team and Sam go up high and keep watch." I said. They all nodded and we split up. My group and I quitely walked into the alleyway.

"Nat!" My dad said in a hushed tone.

"Clint?" We heard a voice and a figure come out in front of us. She was scrawny and dirty but I saw her as my mother, hurt but being saved. She walked up to us and collasped in my dads arms. She just couldn't stay awake any longer. 

"We found her. Everyone watch for Loki and head back to the ships." I said to my group and into the com link. They nodded and we started walking.

"Wait, where is Elizabeth?" I said. We all panicked no knowing where she had gone off to.

"Looking for her?" A sinister voice said behind us. We all jumped around and saw that it was Loki with his scepter around Elizabeth.

"Loki, Dont!" I yelled. He smirked his evil smirk. He looked to her then to me.

"Oh this makes this so much better. Such disfunctional mortals. Silly to have children." He said.

*Steve POV*

"Silly to have Children." Loki said. God, i hate this guy. Why can't he just leave us alone? I know that he figured out that Elizabeth is Brandy's Child. I think she knew that too because in an instant she started running. I tried to grab her but she had to much of a head start and suddenly they both were gone. 

"Where did they go?" Sue asked but more like yelled in distress. I could tell she wanted to cry and scream.

"Well let's go find them." I said. I was on a mission and i would succeed.
