Chapter 12: why doesnt he die already?

I went into my room and got cleaned up then changed into my shield uniform. I looked at myself in the mirror, making sure I looked okay.

I had lost weight in the last 4 months. I hadn't really eaten anyway so I had lost a lot of weight. How much? not sure. I walked out of the room to see Thor patiently waiting for me.

"You look much better Lady Barton." Thor said. I smiled at him. We walked down to the control room where i assumed everyone was and head a familiar laugh. Thor and I both looked at each other with a look of worry then started walking faster to the control room.

"Damn why wont he die?!" I yelled when I ran in to see Loki standing in the room holding My daughter at knife point......or i should say sphear point. Haha get it? I got many surprised looks from the others in the room as i approached Loki.

"Why won't you just die and then we can burn that horrible halloween costume?" I said while smirking. Yea that's right! Im back baby.

"I thought you were still a depressed little girl." He snarked back.

"Well think again Loki. Why don't you just give up this horrible idea and stop trying for world domination?" I ask as i creep very slowly closer. He laughs his evil laugh.

"you see it isn't about world domination anymore. It is about revenge." He smirked then i had a gut feeling to run in front of Elizabeth. I was correct because he pulled his arm back and lunged his sphear........right into my torso. I looked down in disbelief then punched him before falling down. I staggered for breath.

"K...k....k...kill h...h....him." I spoke out. Everyone went to fighting him but Sam and Elizabeth stayed with me. We waited for a doctor.

"Im so....so....so cold Sam." I stuttered. He nodded his head and they both layed next to me.

"Mom?" I heard a small voice say next to me. My eyes went wide as my head turned to see a little girl that looked like me looking at me.

"Are you going to die?" She asked. At that moment those words broke my heart.

"I don't know baby, i just don't know." I said as i squeezed her hand for comfort. I saw the doctors come in as i started to fade out. I just hope I don't die.

I woke up to bright lights. Where am I? What happened? I moved my hand in front of my face to block some of the light till my eyes adjusted.

"Moma?!" I heard a scream and then a lot of arms engulfing me in a hug. They all released me at the same time. I sat up to see my family there, Uncle Tony, Uncle Phil, Dads, mom, Capsicle, My wonderful love Sam and my daughter Elizabeth.

"How long have I been out? Where is Loki and Thor? Is everyone okay?" I asked all at once.

"Hold on short stop. One question at a time." My uncle said. He called me short stop because I am short.

"4 days, asgard and yes. Are you okay?" Bruce said/asked.

"I could use some ice cream but i think I am actually going to be okay." I said just as The fantastic four and phil's team walked in.

"Hey we just wanted to check on you." Sue said. They all smiled at me.

"Im good for what couldve happened." I said.

"I hate to break this up but she should really get some rest and I think A special someone needs to talk to her." Bruce said. Everyone sighed but walked out, Sam stayed. He pulled something out of his pocket and handed it to me.

"Here, they said i shouldn't give you sugar but whats a little chocolate going to hurt?" Sam said. I smiled, I love him so much.

"I have a really important question to ask....." He said. He then got on his knee, i started to tear up. 

"Brandy Barton, Ever since I met you i had a feeling you were the one. I had only imagined asking you this in my dreams but will you be my girl for the rest of eternity?" He asked. I nodded and held my hand out. I was so speachless. We kissed a romantic kiss. I looked at the ring, it was beautiful.
