Ram Maheshwari and Prakash Mehra are best friends and are business partners from 30 years. Their family have a very strong bond. To increase their business and relation with each other, they both decided to get Ram and Sujata's son Sanskar married to Kavita Prakash Mehra, the only daughter of Prakash and Kaveri but she runs away on the day of marriage with her boyfriend Aadesh Ranjana and late KN Maheshwari's son and Sanskar's cousin.
Both the families are scared and tensed. Their reputation is at risk. If the marriage did not take place then both the families will be defamed in the society.
Now they have only one way to save their reputation. They'll have to get Sanskar married to someone but the problem is no one will be ready to get married to Sanskar and they can't even get Sanskar married to any girl. They can't risk their son's future. Then Maheshwaris thought to get Sanskar married to Sharmishtha's (Kaveri's sister) daughter Swara, who was returning to India after 20 years to attend her cousin's marriage
Sanskar and Kavita's parents are hell worried and scared. Sanskar too is scared. He is extremely angry at Kavita. He wanted to kill her and Aadesh as they were responsible for his family and her family's sadness. They put them in a very difficult situation. Sanskar was in guest room. He cannot see all of them in pain. They were in pain and he couldn't do anything about that and it was killing him.
On the other side Kavita's Parents were sitting in a corner crying and were begging to them for their daughter's mistake. Maheshwari's were not blaming them. They knew they were not responsible about it. They tried to console them saying that one of their family member is also responsible for all this. Swara's parents were also their. They were trying to console both the families.
"Mumma, Aunty jo ho gaya so ho gaya hum usse nahi badal sakte aur na hi humaare rone ya kuch karne se wo wapis aayeinge. But we have to save our family's honor." Pari said
"But how will we do that. You only said that they won't come back no matter what we do then how" Ram asked.
"We have to get married Sanskar to someone else" Pari said.
"But we cannot let our son marry anyone. It is just not the matter about our family's honour. It is about the matter of our son's entire life. We cannot throw him just like that." Sujata said
"I'm not asking to get him married to anyone. Why don't we get Sanskar married to Swara." Pari suggested.
They all were shocked. Maheshwaris already liked Swara. They agreed to get them married.
"No mom I cannot get married to her. We doesn't even know each other and why should she get punished for someone else's mistake. We cannot spoil her life for the reputation of our family." Sanskar said.
"Yes, Sanskar is right. Swara will never agree for this and its wrong. Sanskar was going to marry Kavita, Swara's cousin." Sharmishtha said.
"Exactly. How can Swara get married to her the person who was going to marry her cousin?" Shekhar said.
"Its not wrong. Kavita and Aadesh run away. Kavita never wanted to marry Sanskar. She was just waiting for the right moment. Please Sharmishtha accept their marriage. This is the only way to save both the family's reputation. Swara will also be very happy marring a man like Sanskar. he is nice boy. He'll always keep Swara happy." Kaveri said.
"Yes Sharmishtha, Shekhar, Swara will be our daughter after marriage. We'll keep her very happy. You'll never regret about this decision." Sujata said.
