Bakugou's P.O.V

I sat in the dining room with my parents, who were eating dinner as always. I stared down at my food, not feeling hungry at all. What was in my head was only the 'incident' that Rutile and Todoroki were talking about.

"He didn't say anytjhing, and just pointed at the headlines, which was a man who killed his wife."

"Whatever you do, don't tell anyone, even himself. He has been traumatized of that experiece ever since."

"Katsuki, why aren't you eating your food?" Mom asked as I only play with it with my chopsticks, which was a clear sign that I either didn't like it or wasn't in the mood to eat.

"It's your favorite, Katsuki. Is there something wrong?" Dad asked as he rolled his newspaper under he table.

"What happened to Izuku's mom? You only said that she left him, but why did she? And couldn't he stay wih his father in America ofr the rest of his life?"

"Easy with the questions Katsuki, your mom knew you would ask that one day." Dad said, lookimg over at my mom who, for once, wasn't mad at me.

"Eat, then we'll talk."

"I'm not hung--."

"Don't go all out and just fucking eat."

After eating dinner, mom brought me into the bedroom where they slept usually. She grabbed a box under the bed and opened it. News clippings of the same news cycling over and over with the ssame names.

Inko Midoriya

Hisashi Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya

"What?" I stuttered as mom skipped over to the desk and got another file with pcitures of the scene.

"You see... you were only 7 that time, I figured if I told you it would damage your sense of safety around him. But now that you're older, I guess I have to tell you about it."

Pictures of blood on the couch with Inko's body lying there with a knife on her stomach. Now I know, he saw this, it would be traumatizing.

"He's a son of a murderer, but was raised by an innocent. His father never came home until then. It was a first to see his father and he never wanted to see him again."

I dropped the pictures back into the box and pushed it back under the bed. Tears threatened to fall, then again, it was too late to cry for him.

"I'm sorry Katsuki, it was the truth."
