"C'mon Louis, let's get out of here." Aasim helps me up. Shake my head and try denying it, but he half-drags and half-helps me walk toward the entrance. I hear the Snap! of the crossbow strings, and Violet shouting "NO!!"
Holy shit. This is all just so messed up, and now Minnie's dead too.

Clem pushes Minnie's body to the side and quickly gets up.
"I have to find AJ! You guys get off the boat before the bomb explodes!" She says.
"Better see you on land." Aasim replies.
"You will. Come on Violet, you have to go!"
Violet looks up from Minnie's body, "I cant leave her. You all go, I'll catch up."
Agreement has been made. I let Aasim and Omar lead me onwards, turning this left here and that right there: it's a giant maze. And after about 5 minutes of being lost, Aasim takes us to the right path, but there's a fork.

"Stay here a moment, I need to check this fork." Aasim says.
"I'll check the other path."
There we are. I'm a burden, slowing things down. I sit down between some boxes, and try to calm myself down. Footsteps echo down the path we have been walking, and Violet enters the room.
I push myself up and tap her shoulder.
"Louis? Where's Aasim? Omar? Are you waiting for him?" Violet turns around.
I nod my head. She sighs and crouches behind some boxes opposite me. I sit back down, waiting.

I want to tell her that I'm glad they came back; that she's the best friend I could have. But I can't. So I just sit in silence, occasionally glancing at her. She looks miserable, especially since she just killed Minerva. I think we're all miserable, and scared, no matter how strong we think we are.

Aasim runs back into the room, gasping and panting.
"Wrong way! I think they saw me! Where's Omar gone?"
"I don't know." Violet says.
He walks up to me and helps me up, and greets Violet as well.
"We have to be fast." Violet says.
She leads the way, followed by Aasim, who's helping me on.

~~

I take a breath of the not-so-fresh air. It smells like heavy gunfire and walker corpses, but it's better than in the brigs.
"Come on, there's still people on deck, be stealthy." Aasim warns us. Suddenly, there's shouting coming from the top deck, next to the chimneys.
We progress from behind the boxes, avoiding the lights, when we hear gunshots from on the pier.
"Hide!" Violet whispers.

I look around and shove myself against some greenish boxes.
He approaches me and starts placing something on the box.
"What the fuck...?!" He notices me, "Who are you?!"
I hear his rifle click as he loads it and I feel the coldness in the air.
"Answer me!"
I try making some sort of noise, but he wouldn't get the message, so I leap sideways, out of the way, and start running.

"Come back here!" He's right on my tail, but I'm trying my best to dodge. Unfortunately, I'm not in the best of shape. I trip over some metal bars, and I'm sent flying. He stands over me, a silhouette against the blaring searchlights.
"You little ass.." he stomps on my shin, and I make a strange screaming noise in pain.
"I'm taking you right up to Lilly, a sneaky bas—"

He drops dead before me and in his place is Violet.
I'm panting in desperation and something released in me when I see her. She holds out her hand and I take it, although my leg is in bad condition.
"We'll get you out of here, don't worry Louis." She says determinedly. I nod, and watch as Aasim runs towards us.
"They should be off the boat by now!" He says.
We hear a battle going on: a chain of bulletshots, about 10 shots.
"Oh shit, the boat is shaking!!" Violet cries out.
"You're right... you're right!"

The explosion shatters the chimneys, and debris rains onto the water. The noise echoes song the river, and the boat starts tipping violently toward the pier. Violet grabs my hand and starts to run.
"The others! Where's Omar, and where is Clem and AJ?"
"I'm here, and with Willy!" We all turn to see Omar and Willy.
"Where's Tenn?"
"I have no idea, nor with James." They admit.
And then there's the growl of the walkers.

Of course the walkers are here. This was a huge explosion. But we can move anywhere, because the boat is about to crush the pier completely.
"This is so fucking messed up! This is all going on far too quickly!" Violet hisses in frustration.
Gradually, the boat quakes more and more, until its reached its peak, and slowly continues on its path of destruction. It falls directly onto the pier, ripping though it like it's paper. The supports come tumbling down, and we're plunged into the shallow bank.
