chapter two

Whitney's pov: What an evening I spent yesterday with Megan. I really want to know her, but you know what, when you know you know right? And I feel like we are gonna go far together. As I am getting ready to go to school, I can't stop smiling because I know I am going to see her again and just thinking about her makes me smile so much. I am ready and leave for school, Harry is picking me and Lauren up. And of course, we are picking Megan up too. This car ride isn't going to be awkward at all. Megan comes into the car and seats on the back with me. We have one seat in between us and there is no talking at all since Harry and Lauren are here but you have no idea how much I want to give her a hug or just talk to her. Once we are at school, I jump out of the car as quickly as possible and practically run to my friends.

L: That was odd, what is happening with her?
M: I have no idea, why would you ask me
L: Yeah you right, let's go to class.

The day went by slowly. I didn't see Megan at all the rest of the day. She didn't come home with us. Her mom picked her up. I decide to text her and see if maybe she wants to meet with me.

W: hey, how was your day?
M: hey great hbu?
W: not real great, as I didn't get to see you
M: Aww
W: would you like to hang out?
M: sure when?
W: rn?
M: I have to finish my homework and then I'm all yours
W: how much time do you need to do your homework?
M: Maybe an hour and a half?
W: okay, see you then

Now I have to find something to do for an hour and a half. I'll watch some Orange is the new black and my favorite character on this show is Piper and as I am watching, I can see the resemblance between Megan and Taylor Schilling. They really look alike, it's crazy. I watch two episodes and leave. I am going to pick Megan up and see where we go. I ring her doorbell and her mom answers the door.

?: yeah?
W: Hello ma'am, I am Whitney, Megan's friend.
?: I'm Bethany. Come in please.
W: Thank you.

She then calls Megan and we go up in her room, as she didn't want to go out. I seat on her bed and we have this awkward moment. No one is talking you could literally hear a fly.

M: do you mind if I put music on?
W: not at all

She puts the "Hanson boys" on because it's her favorite boys band.

M: So how was your day?
W; I already covered that topic via texts
M: Right, sorry but the silence is kind of awkward don't you think?
W: it is, I agree. I have a question for you
M: Go on
W: Have you ever dated someone?
M: Hum none of your business missy
W: Okay. Let's talk tv shows then

Megan and I talked for hours and her mom offered to spend the night since it was late and I agreed. Of course, my dad wanted to know where I spend the night and I lied telling him I was at a my best friend's house so I had to call he and ask to cover for me. He agreed on one condition, he wants full details tomorrow. Well lucky for me, there is nothing much happening. Megan hands me an oversized t-shirt for me to sleep in. We hop in bed and we are very distant from each other, just staring at the ceiling. I sometime turn my head to look at her and she is also staring at the ceiling. I can't sleep knowing she's centimeters away from me. She makes me nervous. I decide to make a bold move.

W: Megan, are you asleep?

She doesn't answer but after a few seconds she turns away and faces me. We look ack and forth between our lips and our eyes. And without thinking, I lock our lips. She didn't move at first. I unlocked our lips and she leaned in for another one. I put my hand on her cheek and she puts her on my back. As we deepen the kiss, y hands goes in her beautiful blond hair and hers goes further up on my shoulder, caressing my back. She then rolled over me and nothing more happened. We just made out and went to sleep in each other's arms.And it was the best night of my entire life!

The morning after, we were woken up by her mother to go to school but when she saw us asleep in each other's arms, she started to yell!

B: WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING HERE?
M: Mo..mom
B: YOU GET DRESS AND LEAVE MY HOUSE RGHT NOW

Is what she told me.

B: AND YOU ALSO GET DRESSED, AND COME DOWNSTAIRS!

She storms out of the room and Megan is crying.

W: hey don't cry
M: I'm really sorry
W: it's not your fault, last night was perfect
M: it was but we might need to stop it
W: No no no, we won't. Don't let your mom decide for you, you can make your own choices!
M: I'll try, but you should really go now, she seemed so mad
W: Okay, I'll see you at school
M: yeah, if she didn't kill me.
W: she won't, bye

I go out of the house as quickly as I can. I go home, take a shower and go to school. Unfortunately, Megan didn't show up the whole day, I hope she is okay. 

Megan's POV: After my mom stormed out, I was so embarrassed and also sad. I didn't think she would react like that. I now have to confront her.

B: What the hell Megan?
M: I'm sorry mom.
B: You better be! This is disgusting! You are not allowed to see that girl anymore!
M: Mom no! You can't do that
B: oh yes I can and guess what, from now on, you're going to be homeschooled for your last year of highschool!
M: are you crazy?
B: I don't want you to do bad things so I'm gonna watch you 24/7 to make sure the only person you see are me, your dad and Lauren!
M: I hate you!

I storm out in my room. My mom is completely crazy! I have to find a way to get out of here. But this isn't going to be easy because when my mom decided something you better listen or you're dead.
