Shortly after Christian Newvile has left the Quad's residence (at least, that was how Evangelyn labels her neighborhood that connects the Nollen family, the Cooper family and the Mendoza family with her family), Evangelyn walked back to Alexa's house.

"So, I guess you got a new boyfriend now." Lucas joked, before Evan frowned at him.

"We just met. There is nothing weird going on." Evan assured her friends.

"Whatever you say, Ev!" Cyrus joked back, before he started working on something on his laptop and plugged in another pen-drive.

"Good, because it's weird and impossible if anyone would take any interest in you." Jerry made a sarcastic remark, before he went on YouTubes to watch a livestream of a video game tournament that he was interested in.

"That's rude." Evan frowned.

"Thank you, I try!" Jerry grinned, before he looked back at his video game tournament.

"Are you saying you could get a girlfriend before your sister dates a guy?" Lucas asked.

"Probably. If I were ever interested in any gender in a romantic way. I mean, my good friend Rocki is a girl but we're just bros." Jerry shrugged in response.

"I'm heading upstairs to Alexa's room now." Evan rolled her eyes, before heading upstairs.

Moments after, Alexa and Lucas's father David came into the house, carrying large bags of groceries.

"Hey, I'm home from the driveway. I need help!" David winced a bit, as he struggled with the large bags.

"I GOT YOU, DAD!" Lucas ran over, before Evan ducked to the side of the stairs to avoid being flatten over.

"WATCH IT, LUC!" Evan yelled over.

Lucas went through the bags of groceries before finding the large carton of milk and started chugging it down.

"You're always there for me, son." David muttered to himself.

"You need any of my help, Uncle Dave?" Cyrus asked.

"Sure, there's a lot of stuff in the driveway." David smiled a bit, at least Cyrus is there to help.

"By the way, my mom has got another date tonight so is it ok if I eat over?" Cyrus asked.

"Sure thing, kid." David agreed, having Cyrus over was always a pleasure. The boy didn't have a stable fatherly figure in his life, considering Cyrus's dad left Gail (Cyrus's mom) and Cyrus when he was 4 years old.

"What? Are you saying I have nothing edible at my place?" Jerry joked, taking that as an offense.

"No, I just like to eat over from your place to Lucas's place from time to time." Cyrus cleared his throat.

"Mhm-hmmm?" Lucas and Jerry raised their eyebrows at Cyrus. Clearly, spending extra time at the Mendoza family usually meant Cyrus getting to spend more time with Alexa.

I laughed to myself, watching Katie and Alexa discussing what clothes to wear for their first day of school. Along with watching Alexa hurling clothes across the bed at Katie's direction.
